Two of the four Stanley Cup playoff games last night were decided in overtime, won by the Dallas Stars and the Washington Capitals, whose clinching goal was scored by the NHL's all-time leading goal scorer, Alex Ovechkin, his first overtime goal in 152 career playoff games.
Colin Blackwell scored in overtime for the Dallas Stars who beat the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 to even the series at one. The Detroit Pistons won their first NBA playoff game in 17 years, ended an NBA record 15-game playoff losing streak, tied the Knicks one game apiece, the Clippers evened the Nuggets 1-1.

First round of the NFL Draft is Thursday. ESPN reports that the Browns, who have the second overall pick, and the Giants, who select third, have both taken calls from teams inquiring about trading down for their picks. One day after Italian soccer league Serie A postponed all of Monday's matches to Wednesday because of the death of Pope Francis, today Serie A also postponed three matches scheduled for Saturday when the funeral will be held for Pope Francis.
