They're talking about getting rid of that play. I understand they should keep it. A vote on the ban has been tabled until next month. Saquon Barkley, coming off one of the best seasons for a running back in NFL history, caught a ride to the nation's capital with the president. I offered him a ride on Air Force One because I was coming down.
And usually they say, no, no, I don't think so. He said, I'll take it, sir. In his first year with the Eagles, Barkley set the NFL's single-season rushing record, postseason included, topping Terrell Davis' mark. The MVP of Super Bowl LII quarterback Jalen Hurts was not in attendance, citing scheduling conflicts.
And in the NBA, Damian Lillard's season is over and Milwaukee's future looks bleak. An MRI revealed a torn left Achilles tendon for Lillard. The injury was suffered Sunday during Milwaukee's Game 4 playoff loss to the Pacers. The tear puts next year in jeopardy for Lillard after he fought his way back from a blood clot in his right leg, which caused him to miss the final 14 games of the regular season. Milwaukee's season could come to an end on Tuesday.
