New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr is retiring due to significant degenerative changes to his right shoulder, according to the team. The 34-year-old was a second-round pick of the Raiders in 2014. He played nine seasons for that team, split between Oakland and Las Vegas, before signing a four-year deal worth up to $150 million with the Saints this year.
