Hi everyone, I'm Liz Klayman and it is time to take the quiz. This is the quiz. History, pop culture, science, sports, civics. How much do you know? Let's find out.
Five days a week, the quiz is five questions in less than five minutes. We asked people on the streets of New York City to play along. Let's see how you do. Question one. In order to be considered an EGOT winner, which four awards do you have to win? The Oscars. I don't know. Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony.
That's right. An E for Emmy, a G for Grammy, an O for Oscar, and a T for Tony. And does it count? I watch all the award shows. I mean, I watch them. Can I win? No? Okay. Question two. The first box of Crayola crayons hit shelves all the way back in 1903. How many crayons were included in the original box? 24. 8.
That would be eight. How are you doing so far? Don't worry about it. Let's just keep going, okay? Because we need to move on to question three. The shot heard round the world marked the beginning of which battles during the American Revolution? Boston something, maybe. Gettysburg. Lexington. And Bugger Hill.
The correct answer, The Battles of Lexington and Concord. And if you don't know, you need to read the history because the bravery of the Sons of Liberty, so unmatched. Question four. Taking the world of teenage girls by storm, the first Twilight novel published in what year? 2000? 2012. 2008? 1975.
Actually, it was nearly 20 years ago in 2005. Those teenagers are now, you know, got full time jobs. They're killers in the world, in the working world. Amazing. Play, share, listen. Question number five is next.

What is the name of the deepest zone of the ocean down more than 36,000 feet? It includes the water below the Mariana Trench. I don't even know. I got nothing. I forget what it's called. No idea. Close, but not quite. The answer is the Hatipelagic Zone, a.k.a. the Haddle Zone. Yes, I worked on that pronunciation.
