We talk about our meal at Tucci Hidden Microphones and Love Hotel. How are you, ladies?

Very well. Have you been doing press this morning? Is this why you look so good today? Yeah, thank you. So what have you done so far? I was over at Good Day New York with Rosanna. Oh, she's fun. I love her. Oh, and guess what? What? Max from Dancing with the Stars gave me a little swoon dance and gave me a little, how do you call that? When you tip you over, I forgot.

A dip. He gave me a dip. I took you for a dip. So Max took me for a dip. And I got to say, I was not mad at it. No, he actually. He's hot. He showed up, I think it was just this year. His kid goes to my kid's school. Oh, wow. So I noticed him. Ah, well, he's, I mean, how could you not notice him? He's a good looking guy. He's a good looking guy. And if ever I do Dancing with the Stars, he should be my partner because he's big. He's tall. He's tall.

I need a big dude. Her life is the love hotel. It is. You have not stopped. You have not checked out. We have not checked out yet. So I've been trying to connect with you this week, and our schedules just did not align. And we were hoping you would join us for dinner last night, but you were having dinner with Bravo. It was funny because she reached out. She said, what are you doing? Do you have time for drinks? I said, I have drinks with Bravo. Meet us for dinner. She goes, I have dinner with Bravo.

It was the same executive, by the way, which is really funny. I know, I know. But I'm glad you were able to do the show. Shannon and I went to the famous, now, Tucci restaurant in New York City. Where is it located exactly? New York.

- NoHo. - NoHo? - Yeah, above Houston, so NoHo. - And I have to say, I would not have known about this restaurant if there wasn't a controversy over your mutual friends, Sonia, Morgan. And I'm so glad it happened because I would not have gone otherwise and I really enjoyed it. - Very good. - That chicken parm. - Very good.

Everything is great. And you know what? The guy was the owner, Max, was very generous and very sweet. And what's interesting is that he had brought over an entree. So we paid our bill. But he had brought over the entree or won an entree. It was an appetizer. Appetizers. Yeah, he brought over the meatballs. But what's nice is he said, and it was very clear, these are for me.

- Are from me. These are from me. I'm like, okay, that's really nice. That's really nice to send over a appetizer. - Two meatballs plus the arancini with the caviar on top. - Oh, I love. - So he sent over two. - These are from me. - These are from me. So it's very clear. - I love a free meatball. - Love a free meatball. - Same. And then he sent over a new cocktail which I really liked. And I think he sent over two of them and they're called the Sonia Non Grata. - Was it just the two of you?

Okay. It sounds delicious. What is it called? The Sonia Nangata. I've never been there. I'm going to go to Tucci. You have to go. Yeah, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Well, I will tell you, it was packed. Really? Very crowded. I'm wondering if all this press has helped. I mean, it was young people. It was hot people. Like, it was good. A good crowd. But the chump who came over to us, she wasn't even involved in the whole... She didn't follow it from Sonia. She was just like a New York City girl. So it's a good mix of like...

Bravo fans plus real city people. It's a restaurant family. They own Delmonico's. Do they own Delmonico's also? So, ovviamente, Italiani. So, when he was describing the steak, he says it's a Delmonico's steak. Mmm.

I was impressed with the, I thought the aesthetic was really nice too. How was the music? Was the music good? Music was good. What I like about the music is that I can still hear Shannon talking. I'm not screaming. So when you kind of notice but don't notice the music is really the way it needs to be. Now, of course, I had lots of questions for Max. And I'm like, come on, Max. What really happened? How many times has Sonya been here?

And he said, well, you know, I knew Sonia because she was my neighbor. And so we were friendly. And I don't remember where Max said he invited her. I don't know if he invited her in or she came in. They were neighbors on Upper East Side. And so he said, come down, try Tucci. I'll take care of you. Yes. So she came in with one other person.

And he said she's only been here, was only here once before. Yes. And he said she came in with one other person. I was very happy to comp it. I let her know in advance. And he said specifically, all you have to do is leave a tip. Now, we've been comped many times before. Now, when someone comps a dinner, I way overcompensate with it. All the cash we have. You figure how much was the meal and you kind of give the server that. She didn't tip.

So he had to cover the tip also for his employees. And then the second time she came in, we know the story. She had, I think, a reservation for three. She walked in with five. And she did expect to be comped. But there was no conversation beforehand about being comped. She did obviously not pay her bill. And also did not tip. Right.

She did not tip and did not pay her bill. Now later, I think a few days later after the, and he said, there's a lot of notable people that come in that do pay their bills. And he said, he got a call from New York Post. Correct. He did not call the New York Post. Right. Because she made such a scene in the restaurant that someone had told her.

The Post reached out to him for comment. He goes, I would never sell out any of my patrons. So the Post had called him for the quote. Now, she was very upset when they didn't comp the bill, and she actually got him on the phone. He said he was at his mother's in Florida? He was in Florida with his mom. On vacation. Oh, wow. And it was pretty late at night. He said it was 11.

Yeah. I think 11, 1130. Yes. And, uh, you know, she had said that she was, she was insulted and appalled that she had to pay for that. And, uh, there was something else she said, which will, will come to me, but that's kind of what happened. Um,

That was it really in a nutshell, right? But then she paid the bill and tipped. She ended up paying the bill, right? And she tipped. Okay, good. A few days later. A few days later. But as the manager, I met the manager also, and he said- Giuseppe. Giuseppe. He said in any other circumstance, if someone were to get up and walk out without paying the bill, we would call the police. Mm-hmm.

Well, yeah, but they know Sonia and, you know, Sonia can be very forgetful. I will give her that. But, but, you know, the good news is that she did make it right and paid and then gave a tip. So that's good. I remember what he told me when she called Florida at 1130 at night.

She had gone off about how she's a celebrity and a single mother. She was trying every which way to get this bill paid. She said, and I quote, I did not make this up. This came right out of his mouth. She said, Rocco's pays me to be at their restaurant.

What's Rocco's? Do you know Rocco's? No, I mean, Rocco was like an old friend of hers that was actually on the show that she used to hang out with. But I think he passed away now. It's a steakhouse. So it's probably hard to get payment. He said it was a steakhouse. I'd say. Yeah. It's like a steakhouse. Well. Okay. Moving on.

Okay. Yeah. I mean, I guess we can move on. Yeah. Let's not make it about Sonia Rita. Let's make it about the Love Hotel. Oh, yes. Absolutely. Let's talk Love Hotel. That's much sexier. Absolutely. That's so much sexier. You know, I just had a little scoop. I know. So I just had to share it. I know you did. Because I know how much you love Sonia. He also spoke to the owner of the restaurant in Florida. He spoke to the owner, had called him, and told him what happened there. And that-

I said, oh, did she not pay the bill again? And they said, no, that's not what happened. She was so drunk, allegedly so drunk and disorderly that she had two choices. We can either call the police to remove you or we can call an ambulance. Was that the Palm Beach? Yeah. Yeah, that's the Palm Beach thing. God, they love us in Palm Beach, don't they? Yes. So that's all I have to report. That's all I have to report. All right.

- What are you worried about? I know you're friendly with her, but what are you worried about? - No, I mean it's just a horrible situation, you know? 'Cause they happened so close in time with each other. - Yeah. - So, that's, you know. - I just hope she's okay, because-- - Well, she's obviously not okay. - Well, I know, but I hope she's okay today, 'cause I live in the moment. - Okay.

There is no yesterday. There's no tomorrow. There's the moment, right? Well, it's only noon. Hopefully she's okay. Yeah. It's only noon. Oh, Jeff. Well, you know, Jeff and Sonia have had issues since the reunion. Because I'm the only one that doesn't excuse the bad behavior and I called it out. Yeah, that's why. That's why. In my opinion, she's unhirable. And I don't see an insurance company that would ever cover her. But anyway, Love Hotel. It's a great show. I have watched six episodes so far, so I'm all caught up. Two more? Two more. Okay, I'm sucked in. Oh, good. You guys, they're good episodes. It's wow. They're all good episodes. Yes, they are. It's the journey, right? We get there. We're presented with guys that don't even know who we are, which is...

Amazing. Yeah. Incredible. And so I loved the guys that they picked. I thought, you know, especially the first batch. All of them? Right? Well, you know, not all of them. But I thought they did a great job, you know, casting. You know, let's think about this. These are like regular dudes, right? And here they get thrown into the Love Hotel. And...

You would think that they've been doing reality forever, right? There's no like great weirdness, isn't it? They're like very natural Open I was really surprised what I like about you and I think this was a really great Casting choice by Bravo is that you were kind of the unofficial hostess. You're very very gracious very friendly to everyone even though I

I mean, I knew that some of those dudes you were not going to touch with a 10-foot pole. But you were lovely. You were lovely. And you too. You were very vulnerable, very sweet. A little too emotional. I don't think so. I mean, I did not go there with the intention of shedding a tear. I was going to have fun. Right. Listen, you know, we were welcoming to them, and I think that made a big difference in them being comfortable.

We were very welcoming and that's what I do. You know, I'm a hostess of Cabaret, right? So it's like, welcome to my living room. I was wondering how long it took you to get to that. And so that's, write this down, 11 minutes. 11 minutes. Hey, that's good. I'm doing better. I'm doing better. So no, but seriously, I'm a hostess, right? So it's about welcoming people, making them feel comfortable. And that's what a good hostess does.

And so for the Love Hotel, you know, I think that made a big difference that they were also inviting to them. It did. I had a dinner with Andy and we were talking about the Love Hotel and it just...

It could not have been a better cast. I don't know. I know it was all random and like somebody canceled and then now they have a fill in and someone else cancels. It ended up being the best chemistry. Yeah. And I really felt like a like a real true friendships were being built, not only between the ladies, but between the men. Oh, totally. Oh, they have like a monthly Zoom call.

And they have a group text that some of them then say, I had to exit out because it's daily, multiple times a day. No, I know. It's crazy. They're really more in touch than we are because, you know, they really bonded, you know, the guys did. And, you know, we did as friends because we didn't know each other. I thought at first I was like, what a weird cast.

- Yeah. - Right, but guess what? The stars aligned. - Did you guys know each other really well before this? - No. - Not really well, but we did Project Runway together, so we were together every day, like doing the hair and makeup together. - BravoCon and things like that, right? - Just so you know, Shannon is your friend. Last night, she probably said six times,

I love Luann. I love Luann. Thank you. I love her too. You guys really, really bonded on this trip. We had a lot of fun together. And I felt like her protector also. Well, she was. Yes. You were very protective. She's protective of everyone. But you also let her do her thing and make her own decisions and all that. Sometimes for me, if a show has aired too many episodes, I get intimidated. Like, oh God, I'm already behind.

It's a bingeable series. It's something you want to binge because I don't think you want to watch one episode and wait another week and another episode because you're in it and now you want to know and they do a good job at teasing. So like at the very end of episode six, you know, they were like, okay, we're going to eliminate right now. And then it turned out, I was like, oh shit, right now? No, there's only 30 seconds till it's over. I didn't say goodbye to Wale yet. How do you think we felt? I was like, what? Can we talk about Wale?

Sure. Oh, I love him. I love him. I know. He's probably my favorite. I mean, Ashley fucked up. She's fucking up. She's playing games. Ken, you agree, right? She's playing games. She's stringing him along. And he called her out. She is... Oh, he... Calls her out. Well, he gets mad when she goes out with...

- Well she says all of these things. - What is drama? - She says all of these things, I can see myself having a life with you and then it's like I pick Ralph. - I was surprised by that. But she was struggling with who to choose. I mean it was like,

opposite ends of the spectrum. Totally. Between Wale and Ralph. But she was married to an older man, right? Right. So, you know, I, for her, I check the box of older. I think Wale's too young. I think Wale wants to have children. And I think that Ashley has two kids already.

and I don't think that's really her goal. I think she's aiming for older and richer. She wants to be a second wife, not a first wife. She wants to have the successful man who's done the kids. That's correct. She's going to be a great second wife. But from my understanding, Wale is successful.

I'm sure he is. Well, I didn't say he wasn't, but he's not ready to give up his job and wine and dine and take her to the most fabulous places in the world and all of that stuff. I don't think he's ready for that. In my opinion, all the hottest guys are the black guys. I mean, I love Wale and I love, you know. Jason? Jason. Wait, what about J.B. Love? Jay? Was he the older guy? Yeah. The one that I wanted Giselle to be with. Yes, I liked him too. I'm probably closest to him. I liked him too. The one who leaves. He actually says I'm- He bowed out. I respected him for that. Yeah, me too. He wasn't going to be strung along anymore. Very handsome, very quality. You're right. I liked him. But who I really wanted to see more of was that Calvin. Why did you not give him a key? Because Ashley had a Miss Calvin. Who's Calvin? He was the guy in the last batch. Ooh. He's hot. We had enough. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he is hot. I forgot about him. I was already into James at that point. Ashley had enough men that she couldn't choose between. We couldn't add Calvin to the mix. A 34-year-old from Los Angeles. And he wanted kids. He wanted kids, too. L.A., no.

Where was like a second person for Shannon? I think it's selfish for the rest of us. There were so many second men for Shannon. Who? You wouldn't look at anyone else but Earl the Pearl. Who? Adam. Adam. Well, that didn't work. And by the way, I'm sorry, Shannon. You have the worst picker. You just do. You just have the worst picker. What? I mean, I'm surprised that, no, never mind. I don't want to. Wait, who should I have picked? I met him and he was so nice. I mean, Mitch was really nice. Mitch, who did you meet? Adam or Earl? Earl.

And he lives two blocks from Sophie. It's so funny. Yeah, but it was very clear. When he's successful, and he's an interesting guy, but he's a guy that I think wants to play, you know, definitely. And he needs somebody 20, 30 years younger than him to feed his ego. Correct. I got that very loud and clear. Me too. How about when he came back and he goes, I'm back, and he jumps over the couch and he falls? And he fell.

- Okay, so Joel Kim booster. I mean the wardrobe, the wardrobe. Did he pick his own clothes? - I don't know, but it was a mess I think. But what did you think? - There was a lot of misses and then I was wondering did anyone ever ask him to change? I mean why was he in a Speedo on the beach? - I don't know. - I don't know.

I was like, what the hell is going on here? I was half naked, but that's part of the show. But you're the star. I know. You're supposed to be half naked. What's the host doing naked? Correct. Showing off his physique.

I felt like, okay, the guy did his job, he didn't pull focus. This is just as a viewer, okay? So I don't know 'cause I wasn't there, but my guess is the editing, the editing made him look fine. He's an actor, you know, and there's a little bit of look at me, I'm right here, and he did that with the outfits. And if I was the executive producer and I was there, I'd be like, go fucking put on something appropriate. Exactly, go put a shirt on. Yes. Like I did to James. What are you doing in a Speedo? If I could host this show right now in a Speedo, I would. Well, of course, Shane. And you would look damn good in it. I also have a theory. Somebody, I bet, at one point made him change.

But they let the Speedo through? They let the Speedo through. Well, it was on the beach or whatever. It was on them already, so what are they going to do? Some of the wardrobe decisions were a lot. I mean, it was a topic of conversation with the men and the women.

You know, sometimes when he would come down, you know, but to each his own. Well, I mean, you know, he's got a great body. He's a handsome guy for sure, you know, but I agree as a host. You got to know your place. Got to know your place. You're the host. Right. So you, you know, you introduce and you tell us the rules of the game and you move right on out. That's right. So...

but I think that they added him very, I think it was fine. What's with the big black beads all the guys are wearing? What the fuck is that? Those are microphones. That's their microphones. That's what Shane said. They're mics. I thought when they came down, what the heck? Yes. Fashion trend? That's what I thought. Yeah, it was weird. I guess they do that on other dating shows as well, but I wish they would have pointed that out because

Because I, yikes. Every guy is wearing another black bead necklace. I'm like, what is going, what's going on here? It was not explained. Oh, that's so funny. Yeah, they should have done that. But they could make them a little more inconspicuous. It was like that island. So that they can take their clothes off. On Love Island, they have those the whole time because no one has clothes on ever. Well, explain it. Because I didn't understand. I'm sorry. We didn't, I didn't understand for a couple days. Right. It took us a minute to get it. Yikes.

Did you guys give Craig a key? Did somebody give Craig a key because they felt sorry for him? No, but I think it was you, Luann, who said, give one to Craig. I'm like, knock it off. Which show is Craig? She was going to Antarctica. I'm forgetting. He was the one going to Antarctica in the salmon shirt. And then he says...

I bet if I wore another shirt, I would have stayed. That's what he said. He knew he screwed up his fashion. He was like, if I had another shirt, I probably would have stayed. And maybe some contacts. Just for the game. Those glasses were so old school. He's also going to go to the moon. Did he say he was going to the moon? Honestly, maybe he'll find someone there. Yeah.

He had really, really bad body odor and he was sweating. He's a sweaty dude. Yeah. Was he roughly the same weight that he is on the show?

Yes. Okay. Just curious. And then did you just go on one date or was it just, did you go on a follow-up date? Wait, let's finish what she said at the bar. What happened at the bar? So it was interesting because the conversation, right? I like to just, I kind of like to joke. I'm a little sarcastic every once in a while. As am I.

Right? Yeah. And he would say same reactions, like really sensitive. And like, yeah, I was just like, dude, I'm joking. Like, can you not take a joke? Like, yeah.

So defensive. We were there for, I don't know, probably a couple of hours. Look, I'm a nice person. I'm like, you know what? You know, I'll sit and talk to anybody. And then he wanted to go on another date. And I was just like, I can't. Number one, I can't deal with the sensitivity. But it was, I just couldn't deal with the sweating and the spanking. I just couldn't. Did you guys kiss goodnight or no?

No. Okay. And then I'm curious, Leah, you're not the kind of person that just ghosts someone, right? Like you sent a nice text back saying, I think it's just a friend vibe or what did you do? I did. I did actually because then we ended up becoming friends on Facebook. Oh, well, not anymore. But that's over. I'm out. But I was going to say.

Well, you know what? I don't have a sense of smell because of my sinus surgeries, but I didn't notice body odor. Then you're a perfect match for him. Oh, my God. I mean, everyone was sweating because it was so humid down there. Right, Luann? I mean, everyone was sweating. Well, my guys weren't sweating. But Earl is very sensitive. He is sensitive.
