Amy Alznauer is a polymath: she is a writer, a managing editor, and an instructor of calculus and number theory at Northwestern University. Amy's most recent work is in children's picture-book biographies, work which has been awarded with the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Illinois Chapter Laura Crawford Memorial Mentorship.
In this episode, we discussed the three children's picture book biographies she wrote and Amy tells us about why she started writing picture-book biographies and what the genius of childhood can teach grown-up readers etc.
