本期全球童书作者采访对谈的嘉宾是越南裔美籍绘本作家、插画师——LeUyen Pham。
成为插画师之前，她在动画行业工作了一段时间。她是一位非常高产的创作者，从业二十多年已经为近120本书配了插画。当然，如果你了解了她每天的工作时长，也就不觉得奇怪了。当天我和她采访完已经是美国时间的晚上九点，她说她还会继续工作到凌晨两点，早上七八点又要起来工作了，而这个状态已经持续了几十年。
2020年，她配插画的《Bear Came Along》这本绘本获得了凯迪克大奖！
2021年初，她仅用了六周就出版了一本记录疫情的绘本《Outside， Inside》，广受好评。这本书现在也引入中国。

LeUyen Pham is the award-winning and critically acclaimed illustrator of more than one hundred books for children. LeUyen (pronounced Lay-Win) is the New York Times bestselling illustrator. She illustrated the Caldecott Honor Book Bear Came Along by Richard Morris.
