But Kyle sent a long, heartfelt, emotional, guttural text to Dorit, and Dorit chose to air it on the show. And the production company and the network allowed that. Like, what a personal violation. Like, that is not something I have to ask anybody if it's okay. It's crazy. There's just, I can't imagine a universe where you would feel like

Is this Big Brother? Like, this is The Handmaid's Tale. I mean, what else could it possibly be? You're on a show and you're working on the show. Then you're off the show and you're texting. Like, does everybody have to hand over all of their personal thoughts too? It's your actions and it's the things you say when you're on camera. But it's the things you say when you're off camera too. That's insanity. Like, that is such a violation of

And anyone who doesn't understand that is wrong. And I never say that. If you don't understand that that's a crazy violation and should be illegal, that is wrong. Wow. Imagine like watching television and being like, oh my God. Because you're like, what else have I texted Doreen in the years that we've known each other? I mean, good God.

I could tell you this with great certainty. Luann, Ramona, Jill, Alex, Kelly, like, I don't know if I've ever texted Kelly Bentimone, but like to share a personal text. I mean, I have texts with Andy Cohen for years. I would never share them. Text with Kelly Ripa. I have texts with people that I've worked with that I can't stand in the past. I would never air a personal text.

Like, or an instant, you know, an Instagram message. Like, that's where the line is. You know, you do everything above board. Like, we're in the ring and whatever happens in there is you're in the ring. But like, you don't like smack someone in the back of the head as you're walking out. Like, it's not fair fighting. What the fuck? And Kyle's not going to air Dorit's messages because that's two wrongs make a right. And that's not going to make her feel any better. It's just so unethical from every single person. And

Does anyone not understand that like this is insane? I mean, it's crazy. That's I don't know why that hit like on the back of the head. Like, are you fucking kidding me? That's crazy. If I thought my personal texts. Oh, my God. That is horrendous. And Kyle is a favorite there. And that's how they treat their favorite children. That's what happens to the favorite child in the family.

Imagine what happens to the least favorite children in the family. So I need to make the distinction between them on reunions airing a text that someone shows when there's a discrepancy. So I'm like, you called me a whore. No, I didn't. Yes, I did. Here's the text. You called me a whore. That is very different than just whoring.

unilaterally deciding to air a text when someone is so emotionally vulnerable and just saying that they're at their lowest point. Like that could send someone over the edge emotionally. That's very different. And maybe, listen, I came up at the time when there were no texts, there were no receipts. That started later. And I believe I called Dennis on camera to prove a point.

And I believe that Carol and I were having a dispute and we showed Andy texts, but I don't

believe we read entire texts ever. I've never read an entire text of someone else's. I feel like that's private or an Instagram message. So that is very different. You can't say, Kyle texting someone heartfelt that doesn't incriminate anyone, that doesn't settle any argument, that has nothing to do with anything else really that's necessary or relevant. It wasn't like someone else said that

Kyle killed somebody and then Dorit was like, here's the evidence. She killed somebody or she didn't. Like it was literally, hi, we're friends. I'm sorry. I'm vulnerable. I'm at a low point. And that was aired. So if you don't see that that's different, then you're just clueless.

Let's talk about the text that Dorit shared on the housewives. The press is saying that I'm blaming Dorit. I'm actually not blaming Dorit at all. Dorit is not at fault. Dorit is a housewife doing a housewife's job. Dorit is a soldier and she's a good housewife and she needs the job. She wants the job. She's good at the job. She's doing her job. There are no real deep

personal relationships possible on the housewives. It's affected siblings. It's affected sister-in-laws. It's affected cousins. It's affected friendships. We've seen best friends crumble. We've seen sisters go to war. That's a fact.

So Dorit is just doing her job. You cannot get mad at Dorit because you cannot get mad at anyone for what they're doing under duress. And that's why so many housewives have admittedly said that they take anti-anxiety medication, anti-depression medication, because the housewives is an alternate universe where people

It's heightened drinking, heightened stress, heightened nervous system, activation, traveling and not getting enough sleep, alcohol being everywhere, alcohol seeming like a good idea, drugs seeming like a good idea, falling off the wagon. All of these things are true. So Dorit is in a situation where she wants to get ratings. She's a housewife and she also has producers in her ear telling her it's a good idea. That happens all the time. I do not blame Dorit.

Also, we're dealing with a situation where this is a person sending a text who's under mental and emotional duress. She says it in the text. She says she's at an emotional low. So now she's at a vulnerable point. She's going through a bad divorce. It's affecting her emotional and mental well-being. And she's...

She's communicating that. That's different than a receipt at a reunion when someone says, you didn't say that. Someone says, I did say that. And then they provide a receipt. That's a very different circumstance. So don't get it twisted. I'm not blaming Dorit. Don't hate the player. Hate the game. So there are rumors that Watch What Happens Live and or Andy Cohen's tenure on that show will end soon because of this.

Kathy Griffin didn't want to do because she was like, I've done The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. I'm not doing Watch What Happens Live. And the show started with Danielle as its first guest. I used to be on in the beginning. And Oprah's been on, Cher's been on, Madonna's been on.

Pretty crazy guests on that show, but not just the guests. He's been charismatic, entertaining. He makes it look easy, and it's not easy. And just the grind of going in every single night and it being live and getting killed and criticized for different things. And it's been incredibly lucrative for him. And it's been a great, as I said, promotional tool and vehicle. But he's done great and had a good run. So it's never been a ratings darling, but that, you know,

Ratings are amazing and advertisers are all about the ratings, but that show has had a double and triple dip in that it's been a great promotional vehicle and it's been a coveted seat for women to come on and hawk their wares and promote the show. And it's been like a rite of passage. So many people have passed through there. So it's definitely been an iconic touchstone in entertainment for years.
