Stream on Hulu. My dad works in B2B marketing. He came by my school for career day and said he was a big ROAS man. Then he told everyone how much he loved calculating his return on ad spend.

My friend's still laughing at me to this day. Not everyone gets B2B, but with LinkedIn, you'll be able to reach people who do. Get $100 credit on your next ad campaign. Go to linkedin.com slash results to claim your credit. That's linkedin.com slash results. Terms and conditions apply. LinkedIn, the place to be, to be. What's up, guys? Welcome back to the Moments Podcast. Today I'm here with... You guys already know that. I'm here with...

Anna. And Meredith. What a combo, what a combo. Can we get a round of applause? That is so fun. I should do that more often. Like, add, like, sound effects. Anyways.

Moving on. I have no idea what we're going to talk about today, you guys, because here's the thing. Anna and Meredith just met literally a couple hours ago, and we're going on a family vacation tomorrow, and none of us literally know anything about it. My mom was like, do you want to come on this trip to St. Maureen? I'm like, yeah, sure. Can I bring my friends? She's like, yeah, sure. Who? Who?

I go, Maranana. She's like, okay, cool. Tell them all the info. I was like, I'll tell them the info I know. That's all they knew. We literally barely know where we're going, what we're doing, who's going, but we're going to have a blast. And we leave at 6.30 in the morning, 7.30 in the morning, and yeah, I haven't packed. So. Well, I thought our flight was Friday just to find us. And Meredith didn't know that it was out of the country. It almost forgot our passport. Yeah. But we're here. Well, you didn't mention that. I didn't.

Yeah, I didn't tell her it was out of the country, but I thought maybe she would know that it was out of the country. I didn't even know how to spell the place that we're going. Yeah, we kept calling it St. Martine. Me and Meredith were in Hawaii, so when I was like, oh, what are you guys doing this summer? And we were like, oh, yeah, we're going on this trip to St. Martine. It was literally in my calendar. It's like St. Martine. That's how I kept spelling it, but I think that is how it's spelled. It's double E. Yeah. I still don't know how to spell it. Before Lexi got here, Meredith and I were talking, we were like, wow, this really just proves to show you can't say no to Lexi.

We don't even know where we're going. I didn't even know what time our flight is. Yeah, I had no idea if I had my ticket. I also made him take a shot of Fireball before we did that. But to be fair, that one was Meredith's idea. It was not my idea. It was her idea. They're all sitting in my pantry. And she goes, why do you have so many of these? I was like, I don't know. They seem fun. I was like, let's take one in the morning. And Meredith goes, why don't we do it right now? And I go, yes. And she goes, I was just kidding. And then I made him do it anyways. I feel it in my legs. Yeah. So definitely wasn't.

So it's her idea. She's the one who put it into my brain. I participated was my idea. We all did. I want to take credit. Let me just take the clean slate real quick. It wasn't me, I promise. But I put some Instagram story, a little thing like I always do. Like, what do you guys want us to talk about? And let me just say, a lot of people write down the things that we have all talked about on many different episodes. So if you're wondering why we don't talk about it today, it's probably because we already did. So go get caught up. But

We also have this game. I don't know if you guys have heard of the game. We're not really strangers. But I have, and I've only played it like a couple times. But we picked out a bunch of cards, and we're going to try to answer some of them just because I feel like they could be fun and interesting. But before we do that, we're just going to go through this list of things. And even before that, Meredith and Anna just met. So there's a lot of questions on how did you get these two together? How do they know each other? So one of you explain what that was like. You go, Meredith, because I wasn't even here when they met.

So picture this. I'm sitting in Lacey's house on the couch. All the lights are off. I'm by myself. I'm with, you know, her little cat Beans. And we're just like cuddling on the couch having a good time. And I see a car pull into the driveway. And I was like, you know, I don't recognize that car. Maybe it's her mom. Maybe her mom's coming over. I don't know. Then someone comes knocking on the door. Like, it was just a normal knock. It was like an excessive knock. It was like a...

But, like, longer than that. I would be so scared. And I couldn't even see either, and I was like... Also, I didn't tell Meredith Anna was coming. Because Anna texted me, I'm almost there, and I went to text Meredith, and then I forgot because I got distracted. Yeah. So Meredith has no idea that this is who's coming. So I, you know, of course I get up and open the door. And then I didn't even process that it was Anna, and I was like, oh...

Well, so I whip up with my mom, and I'm like, Mom, like, let's take some bets. Do we think Meredith knows that this is us? And she's like, no, definitely not. You should text her. I'm like, eh, I'm not going to text her. I'm just going to go up. And so I'm, like, peeking through the window, and I just see her, like, staring out. I was just staring at you. And I'm like, oh, no, she doesn't know it's me. So I did my little knock, you know. I did the sound effects. And she opens the door, and she looks like me.

Yeah, I'm not there you didn't like call me be like Lexi there's someone at the door they won't stop knocking like it's a small little person I was like, it's gotta be at least one of her friends like by the way that you were knocking I was like it's gotta be someone safe like if this was a murder they would have just opened it. This is true. It was unlocked. Yeah.

Imagine if you busted in here.

You should have. I would have probably freaked out. That would have been scarier. You would have let Beans out. Oh, Beans. Guys, Beans is at Lisette's house again because I'm traveling again. But honestly, I have learned that Beans does even miss me because when he goes to Lisette's, he has another cat friend. And Lisette's parents are, like, obsessed with cats. So they have all the things that you can imagine that are, like, high-tech cat toys. So Beans does not miss me. He's happier there. That's not true. But Beans is at Disney World right now. Yeah. Beans is in heaven. Not heaven.

Anyways, I left them here to mingle for like 30 minutes because I don't even know when I was out running around doing different things because quick life update. Our friend Riley was in town for a day, but he was in Orlando and Orlando was like three hours from where I live. And I didn't realize that Riley was in Orlando and didn't have a car to like get to where I am. And I forgot that we had talked about going to like Disney or Universal for the day that he was here. And I didn't really do any of the thinking about how

you know, I'm leaving on another trip tomorrow or the next day, whatever. Sorry guys, I had to take a quick pause because right at the end are distracting me, but we decided that we're going to go to Universal for the day. So me and Meredith are like, we're going to wake up at 6 a.m., we're going to get there by 9, we're going to do the park the whole day and then drive home that night. Obviously not really remembering how exhausting it is to go to a theme park, so we go to the park all day, we have to drive home at like

And this morning we slept in. We took them, not we, I took them around my hometown, I guess you could say. And then we drove right into the airport and then we got back and now Anna's here and now we leave again in the morning. So. I've only been home like a day and a half too from another trip. So I'm like, yeah, just fun. We're for speed bed. We're basically all just delusional. Yeah.

In the best way because this is awesome. So if you understand this pod, you guys get a trophy for sure. Yeah, because this is probably going to be all over the place. I really don't know what we're going to talk about and it's probably going to be short just because I still have to pack. We have to wake up early, but I still wanted to talk to you guys because I love you. And we still took fireworks. We still took fireworks. So we're wide awake. There's a lot of...

Lots of things on the table. Quite literally. If you're watching this on YouTube, we're sitting in my living room, not the podcast room, because I only have two chairs in the podcast room. But most people don't watch on YouTube, and honestly, I like Better When You Listen on Spotify. Just because. Wait, is this our first pod with three people? Yeah. This is a special edition. Oh, Mary made it. We gotta work on that.

We're going to be doing a lot of TikTok dances because Anna kept sending us, actually, Anna sent me in a group chat. Was it in a group chat? Yeah. Anna sent in a group chat a bunch of TikTok dances and I acted like I watched them and I was like, oh, yes, have to learn. Didn't watch them. The last two we didn't even person.

No. No, the last thing I'm even ready for. I'm so excited, though. Anyways, get hyped because you guys know Anna. You guys know she's a TikTok dancing queen, so she's going to rub off on us for sure. I tried. She did it. On our TikTok grind. And also, fun fact about this family vacation, it is not just my family going. Like, we're going to an all-inclusive with...

three or four, I can't remember, other families. So there's literally 30 of us and I have no idea what to expect. Again, we don't even know anything about this trip. But anyways, we've been talking for eight minutes about literally nothing. One of the most asked questions was like, what is it like bringing different friends together?

And honestly, like, true, I've never brought these two together, but the reason I knew I could is because they're the same person in a different font. Like, they have so many similarities, and I was like, I just know they're going to love each other, so I don't even question it. I'm like, these two will work, so I'm going to bring them together. And it's my favorite thing to do. It's like, don't come by this. I'm like, what do you mean? I'm like, so worse.

Damn. What do you mean by that? When I know that two friends are going to like each other, I don't really hold back. I'm like, yeah, you guys have to meet each other. Because I love mystery friends. What if we don't like each other? What if I, yeah. All right, I don't like this thought. I do not like this thought at all. Whoa. Whoa. I can tell I'm in a nightmare. How about that? She's like, oh, she boys Lexi? Yeah, I love her already. Oh, I love it. Oh, yeah.

We can eat, let's use chocolate chip cookies all day. Whoa, whoa. Guys, fun fact, Meredith doesn't really like chocolate chips in her cookies that much. No. I just think that that's a red flag. That's why we're different. Those are the friends I'm figuring you. Okay, let's get into the questions. Where do we want to start? Let's go with, hold on, I'm pausing to look at this list to figure out what we should answer.

Okay, we decided that we're going to start with a we're not really strangers card. And Anna's going to read it for you. Okay. In one word, describe how you feel right now. Go. Oh, me. Yeah, you're starting. Okay, um. Delusional for sure. I was going to go with delusional. You stole my word. All right, you go. Okay, I'll go. I'm going to let Meredith think on this one. I'm going to say a little confused. Like, time is a really weird concept right now. Um.

And, yeah, that's probably my only comfort. Yeah, like, where are we right now? And also excited because I have a feeling this is going to be a really fun trip for no reason at all. Like, we're just going to mess around and have the time of our life because it's so fun when you go to an all-inclusive and I haven't been since I was, like, 10 years old. But basically, it feels like everything's free. You just order all the drinks you want, all the food you want, and you just get tanned. I'm so excited. It feels like a real summer vacation, you know? Yeah. That's what I'm getting. But I still need a word from you. The only word I can think of is

- Swag, okay yeah. That's just a reason why. - I like that one better than mine. - Yeah, swag is obviously a good one. - It's always my go-to. - Can I change mine? - Yeah, no. - Go. - Swag. - Stoked. - No, I was gonna say that too. I was just joking. - Or lit. - Lit. Swag, swag lit, stoked. I rock with it. Okay, next we're gonna talk about, it's so hard to get into some of these deep topics when we're not in a deep state of mind, but it is interesting to talk about them. And I wanna talk about them. So I wanna first talk about

how to love the simple things in life. And I think this is such a fun thing to talk about when you find yourself complaining about silly little things like we just were about how we've been, oh, I was only home for like a day or, oh, I'm so tired because I got to go to a theme park all day yesterday. Like things like that, all of us complain about sometimes for no reason. And by all of us, I mean, literally every person complains about things that they shouldn't complain about sometimes. So yeah, sometimes it's important to just not do that. And I don't know.

I need someone else to chime in here. I sometimes forget that I have other people. I feel like the little things in life are super important. I feel like it slows life down and makes things just more exciting and like more interesting.

like i don't know the sunset it's actually a little moment in life exactly people don't realize you could be driving and then like the clouds for him hot pink and glow it could actually be like the worst day ever and there is still a way to look at the sunset i literally was gonna say it could be the worst day ever but you can still see like there's little things everywhere yeah like even us just sitting in the room like i'm looking at the flowers i'm like oh my gosh they're so pretty

That's so simple, but it's so easy to change your mindset to look for the good things even though they're really simple. Mindset shifting is the most important key to life, and I will continue to say that until the day that I die. But yeah, another example. I'm sitting at my house right now. One thing I'm stressed about is how messy it is and how when I get back from this trip, I'm like, here I go again. I'm only home for a day. I'm like, how am I going to get everything clean and put together? But then I've got to reframe it and be like, dude, I have a house.

I have a house to make messy and like that is something to be grateful for and when you can do that It just changes the game and everything and I also started doing this thing I think i've told you about this for the past Three episodes but make a stupid little gratitude a silly little gratitude list on your notes app where you just write down Every single thing that happens or that you realize you're grateful for and if you ever find yourself just I don't know finding the need to be negative go back to that list and be like, oh shit Wait, never mind

What is the point? Look at all these things that have happened for me or to me or around me and boom. You'll notice things. I don't know, you just start to view things differently. I'm always like we live on a rock and like everything happens for a reason. So whenever I catch myself in a bad mood, I'm like, wait, hold up, pause.

Breathe, look around, and let's do something that makes you happy and to change your mindset very quickly. There's always a way to shift it. We were talking about that yesterday because I was driving and I was kind of in a crappy mood and I was looking at the side of the road and I was like, those look like, there's so many weeds. But then I was like, wait, they're kind of pretty though. I was like, they're flowers. I'm going to put them in flowers. But it's just like the little shift of like, you know what, that's actually something like

Yeah. You just gotta... Like, you don't have to... Nothing... Not everything has to be, like... Perfect. I think, like, when you're in a bad mood, like, you're looking for, like... You're looking for trouble. You instigate yourself. When you only focus on what's negative around you, I can promise things are only gonna get more negative. Yeah. And it goes the same thing the other way. Like, I know it sounds stupid, but literally fake it till you make it. Fake it till you make it. You could have, like, a literal stomach bug and be...

I don't know, bed ridden for like five days. But I don't know, you can find something. You can watch your favorite movie that you've been wanting to watch and have been too busy to watch. There's always a way to find something to be grateful for. Well, you know who's so...

I was gonna say, well, like, that was, like, yesterday. Like, when you guys were riding the rollercoaster for, like, the same time, and I was, like, I was, like, hating on myself. I was, like, you're such a baby. Like, why aren't you riding it? Like, why are you getting sick? Like, don't even think about it. Also, backstory, because you guys don't know about this, but Meredith didn't tell me that she didn't like rollercoasters. I didn't know.

So hyped for Universal. You did know because I did. Anyways, we're going to Universal and I love roller coasters, right? Like I am so hyped to take her on Velocicoaster, the whole like dueling, it's not even dueling dragons anymore, the Harry Potter ride, whatever it is. And I started talking to her about these and she goes, do they go upside down? I'm like, yeah, why? She's like, I can't go upside down. So I forced her to try it because I'm like, you can't say you don't like it until you try it. She hated it. The whole time we're on the roller coaster, she's like, I

I hate this Lexi, watch me, we do this. But yeah, and then it led to this story that she's not now. And so I let Lexi in because our friend Riley came.

I let them ride it together. I refused to go on it the second time. I tried, guys. I tried. I'm going to throw up. Like, I hate it. It's not fun. And so I was, like, sitting down at the bottom, like, by myself, like, watching everyone, like, bust around, like, all stoked. All stoked about this roller coaster. And I was, like, just bummed. And I was, like, hating it, you know, hating it. But then I was, like, looking at everyone. I was, like, oh, those people are so happy. I was, like, they're so cute. And I was, like, those little kids are taking pictures. Like, this is such a core memory for them. And I was, like, okay, just because I'm, like,

It doesn't mean that this isn't actually a really nice moment. Like, just chillin'. Yeah, I feel like this is actually a cool way to show... Wait, you go first. Oh, I don't know. Mine was just so random.

It was literally. But we love random. Oh, well, we were talking about faking it until you make it. And if there's one person who inspires me so much is Gavin. I don't know if you guys know who Gavin is. You guys know Gavin. Yeah. And it's been for like how many years now? Three, almost four. Almost four. Yeah. They're gold. Anyways. Yeah. But he, so we went on a trip and it's like we had a whole, he runs for college, right? And so we had a whole like time change, all this stuff. And this boy is so sick.

He's, like, on his deathbed. We're with another couple. Oh, wait, I did not know that. Yeah, so we're, like, trying to go, like... We're in whack, so we're trying to, like, fit everything in. Him and Mason have schoolwork. So he's waking up at 6 a.m. to go run, take an exam. Like, every single day he had stuff to do. And then, like, somehow he's able to, like, switch his mood around to not be in a bad mood while he's sick. Just ran 14 miles. Just took a final. Tried to study for that even though we're, like, doing the most whack stuff all day. And then, like, somehow...

looked at the positives of it, he's like, well, at least I'm sick on my deathbed doing homework. But I'm in Hawaii. With my girlfriend and friends. And, like, his mindset, I don't know how he did it because I would have been the biggest grunt if I was in his shoes. So I was like, I look at that and I'm like, okay. That's actually so cool. We could go two different ways here. The way I was going to go from your thought was, like, I think that's a cool way to shift to understand that, like, someone else's

beauty never takes away from your own but also like someone else's happiness like never has to take away from your own like just less comparison because like i've been in a situation kind of like that where like like oh but why do they get to love this so much and like i don't like i don't know you just the first thing you do is compare

And then you could also just turn it into the first thing you do is appreciating the fact that like, oh, that brings someone joy. Maybe like seeing them joyful can make me just as joyful like in a different way. And like there's other things that I love that they might not. I don't know. I just think it's cool to think about it that way if you ever find yourself comparing. You guys get what I'm saying at all? Yeah. No, it does. That's what made me feel better because I was like,

all, like, there's a lot to, like, even though I'm not, like, on the roller coaster with them, like, I, there's still, like, so many, like, cute things, like, happening around, like, they're gonna come off the ride, they're gonna be, like, so happy, and I'm watching all of these, like, little kids have, like, the best day ever, like, watching, like, parents, like, watch their kids, like, have the best day ever, and it's just so, like, it's so wholesome, and I was, like, even though I could have been, like, mad at, like, the situation, I mean,

It's like, you know what? We're going to actually try to have a good, like, see the good things right now instead of, like... And it's also so cool the way that good energy can literally travel between people. Like, seeing people have, like, genuine laughs or, like, genuine smiles or, like, people on family vacations, like, taking pictures where they're actually happy. Like, that stuff spreads through the air, I swear. Like, I don't know if that's just me, but I don't think it is, like...

Take that in. Like, take that in and then continue to spread it. People's energy spreads. So if you're in a bad mood, someone else definitely feels that you're in a bad mood. Yeah. Even if you think you're hiding it. So shake that off. Like, just turn it into a good mood. Shake it off. Anyways. Oh, wait. This is a good time for this. Oh, yeah. We're going to do a part now. Because just because we were singing, what would our band name be? Oh. Why don't you tell us what you said first? Okay. I said...

Mer- Mer-lexana? No, Merilus. Merilexana. You said Merilux? Basically, you said Merilux, you know, the laxative. I don't know what our band name would be though, like Squirrels? Yeah, Squirrel Rings? You guys know that part from Phineas and Ferb? S-I-M, these squirrels are my fans. Honestly, like, S-I-M. I have that, I have that, um, I have that light on my Spotify. Okay.

Do you guys have a favorite playlist right now? That's not a card at all. It's just what's on my mind. Like, what music are you listening to? I like my own. Oh, my gosh. You know, once I was like... Oh, no, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

It is so good. I feel like I'm not listening to a playlist, just that song every day. No, I actually had that song on repeat for a while. We remember talking about it yesterday. We played it and we were like, have we listened to it too much yet? I think I have. I don't think I have. I still actually really like it. I have, personally. I think I've used that as a TikTok sound 15 times. So many times. Some of them are sped up, some are slowed down. They just hit. They hit every time. What you do? What you do? And it's like,

I'm like, yeah, TikTok. Get it. Speed it up. No, TikTok sounds are so interesting to listen to. They, like, the ones where they put, like, remakes or they, like, put two songs together. It's so fun. No, I found the Chrissy Wake Up on Spotify today. I was like, what's going on? Oh, no. I was playing in the car. Chrissy Wake Up.

I'm funny. I'm funny. I'm very funny. I don't know. I don't know. So no band. I would definitely say I'm in my Taylor Swift era. Yeah. I've been listening to a lot of T-Swift lately. My favorite playlist is Lexi's Taylor Swift playlist. It's kind of hitting. I'm trying to make it a goal to make more playlists. Because what I do right now is I just make monthly playlists and put every song that I listen to. Whoa, whoa, whoa. That's what I used to do until I left.

Whoa. It is so cool to go back and listen to my monthly playlist from, like, college because certain songs just bring back so many memories. I agree.

Meredith is a hater. I think it's a good idea. I can never take the time to make lists. I don't know what is wrong with my brain. That's why I just put them in a monthly playlist because I don't have to like move around. It's like any song I listen to that I like that month, it already just goes there. See, I have one playlist called Summer and there's like, it goes from Jack Johnson to Pitbull real quick. No, that's what it says though. I've listened to that one.

Quick little intermission. You guys know how much I love Thrive Cosmetics. I really don't even need to explain it to you because those of you who know me know me, know I've been using their liquid lash extensions mascara for the past three years of my life, and I use it religiously. Even if I'm getting my makeup done, I bring it with me. Not only are their products high performance, but they also give back to the community. And, you know what?

They're good for you. They're the best things in the whole entire world. And lately I've been using their Empower Matte Precision Lipstick Crayon. I didn't know what to expect when I tried this, but it is like long lasting and it stays on forever. And there's no dry flaky feeling. I also love to use their Brilliant Eye Brightener. It's like a combo of a highlight and an eyeshadow and it works perfectly on my inner corner. Sometimes I put a little dollop on my nose.

But everything that Thrive has to offer is an absolute 10 out of 10. And I don't say this lightly. I say it from the bottom of my heart. I love everything about this brand. And honestly, being able to tell you about them is such an honor for me.

Quick little intermission, you guys. We all know how important it is to prioritize the right things in our life. And maybe for you, that's prioritizing doing leg day at the gym or making sure you go for your hot girl walk. But anyways, enough about music. What's what you always play? So I feel like I'm hearing it all the time. Yeah. Even though I haven't seen you in so long. Yeah. And I have not seen each other in forever. We have a lot of kids coming today. So much kids, you know. But let's move on. Let's move on to, oh, this one's kind of fun. What is a brand that, like, you just genuinely love? Like, this is not an ad or anything. Like, this is just the first brand. This is the perfect spot. I'm like, intermission. This is sponsored by, no, I'm not, we're not there yet, but.

You guys know there's going to be some of those. But this is just, like, first company that comes to your mind that you actually love and want people to, like, know that you love them. I can't guess what my son. I don't know. Great Bandit. Great Bandit. They are, like, not just because of, like, their brand, but because of the people who are behind it. They are just filled with so much love, and it's, like, so cool. They're, like...

the triplets run it, but then they also have so many other people, like, behind the scenes as well, and they're just, like, these sweetest people, like, they would do anything for anybody. Like, basically, look at it this way, like, when me and Anna first started doing all this stuff during quarantine, and I don't know if we talked about this on the first podcast we did together, but they were one of the first companies to ever reach out to either of us, and we were like, what does this mean, like,

Like, what does this mean? Like, this brand wants to send us clothes to wear and post in it? Like, what is this concept? And ever since then, like, it's been however many years now, like, almost two years or something like that, and they are still, like, the one company who is so genuine about what they do and love to do it and just put everything into it. Like, I first met them in Turks and Caicos when we went for Anna's launch with their fan institutes. And...

They're just so awesome. Like, I don't know. I didn't really have any expectations, but they've seen the depth. Me neither. I, like, had no idea what we were getting into. And then I was like, these people are, like, the nicest people I've ever

And the stuff is just so cute. I just wish, like, all the customers could, like, see, like, who runs it. Because it's, like, they're not only buying cute clothes, they're buying from people who are so hardworking and just really care about, like, everyone in their lives. And, like, started this just from day one as siblings. Like, that's got to be hard. Imagine, like, I don't know. That's impressive to me. Me and my siblings were, like, no, we would not have made it this far.

You guys already know I'm gonna say free people. You guys already know. There was no surprise there. And Commerce. Like, those are two companies I have given all of my money to. I feel like Commerce is, like, you. The Commerce, I think, you're actually right. The Commerce, yeah. I actually own, I am the CEO of Commerce. I just knew that should be, but...

I started my cover selection when I was 13 and I would get one color every year because like obviously I was 13 I barely made money I was babysitting all the time and I was like what color should I get next so now I've just built up such a collection that it's never gonna end because I'm way too obsessed but yeah I don't know I can't I'm kind of like blanking right now I know that's I I thought that one was gonna be easier

The converse I got you for your birthday. I wore them like two days ago and I picked it up from the airport. I was so jealous of them. I thought about keeping them for myself but you're lucky that we're not the same size so. Yeah. Anna got me one of my favorite Converse for my birthday and I love them so much. For some reason. This is me in the background. Sorry. Anna with the ad libs. I feel like we're freaking neos right now. It's 12:53 so just let me do the ad lib. 12:53 we didn't sleep last night. Let's see.

Quingo, is that you? Okay, one of the most asked questions whenever I post these story things is for us to talk about boys. And I really don't understand because... I don't know where they think that you're getting these experiences. I don't, guys, I've had one boyfriend.

Marissa has not. And the thing is, it's always when it's me and you. That's when they ask the most questions about boys. It's just like, do they think we're like gatekeeping a boy? Like, I really wish I had a soft launch. I wish. No, I have like a Pinterest board and it's like pictures, but like they're all like soft launch pictures. And I'm like, that's going to be so fun. Yeah, Marissa had me on TikTok and it was like something, it was the one, like at the slideshow of how to soft launch your boyfriend. And Marissa was like, why, I can't wait to have a boyfriend just so I can do this. And I was like, yeah, I thought I was going to be able to do that once. I love the, um,

I love secrets. That's fun. Those, I'm like, Victoria Paris, Jinx. I love what she does, like, in her videos. I'm, like, so invested. I'm like, I know I'm not going to see her face, but I will watch the whole video. I just love her in general. I'm like, damn, Gab, why didn't I do this? Too late now. We just, like, you guys act like you

but yeah i don't have any advice for you guys but luckily for you we have someone here who is in a four-year relationship a good relationship too so you know what our relationships don't even like add up to that no i don't i don't i don't know relationships are so simple though right

Okay, here's my statement because I too think that they're very simple. Let me give you a statement. That's why I have a boyfriend right now. You guys fine? No. Introduce him. Yeah, his name is Antonio. His name's Maralexina. Anyways, Anna's going to hit you with some relationship tips right now because...

I feel like it's not that deep. I feel like relationships are meant to be silly. They're meant to be, like, your best friend. I feel like sometimes people take relationships so seriously and so deep. But let's backtrack for a second. Let's hit the people without boyfriends with some advice. Like, how do you think? Okay, okay. Not everyone's, like, already, like, hashtag blessed, you know? Yeah, true. Some of us are hashtag not blessed.

Well, I feel like my biggest thing when looking for a boyfriend, I feel like you gotta find someone that first makes you laugh. And first, don't be looking. Yeah, don't look. Do not look. You gotta let your person else to come for you. I just feel like you just gotta catch a vibe. If someone just like instantly vibes with you, it's... Guys, why are you... I literally started dating Kevin in high school. That was an accident. You guys think I knew what I was doing?

Okay, fine. Let me restart. My biggest advice to you is don't look. Let it just happen, and it'll happen, and it'll be so nice. I've already tried that. No, Mary, it's just you're done. It's coming. Well, the thing is that's because our person hasn't come yet. So I think that you need to hold tight to believing that. And honestly, my biggest advice as someone who is not in a relationship is

while you're single enjoy being single because one day you are going to meet that person that is going to be your person and you don't want to ever have to look back and be like i wish i took more time to figure out who i was on my own because this time yeah you should have no guys what i'm saying is just like again it kind of goes back to the finding the little things to be appreciative of like you know what your time being single is your time to figure yourself out and i talked a lot about this on

I don't remember what episode it was. I think it was moments being selfish in your twenties. And I was basically just telling you like, this is the time when you figure out who you are going to be. So don't waste it trying to find someone who's going to fit it because when you find the person that's actually going to fit it, it's going to be a lot more seamless than that. Like,

Never change who you are for someone else because then you're never going to be yourself. You have to be full. No, you go, Mary. No, you go. You were going to drop something. Oh, I was just saying, you got to be full in yourself instead of looking for someone to fill you. That is a mic drop. Can we get a round of applause? I kind of forgot. I was just going to say like.

I have to remind myself a lot of, you know, what Anna just said because it's easy to think, like, oh, I need to change myself so, like, that they'll like me and then it'll work out. But it's, like, that's... It's never going to work out because then you're not even, like, Then you're never even happy with yourself. Like, the right... Like, I always remind myself, like, the right guy is going to love, like, all of these things that you think that you need to change and, like, even with, like, friendships, too. Like, I look at my friends and I'm, like, if they, like...

like they like they have these insecurities but i love that about them like those are like some of my favorite qualities that makes them them so it's like you can't that's so true and wholesome it is that is i i really like that actually big facts thank you very much i had something after that and it fully just like it was so good that it made me lose my train of thought dang

Someone else give something else because right now I'm liking what I was gonna say. Enjoy your time being single. Your person will come. Go, go, go, go, go, go. Someone else is really good. I was gonna ad-lib so go up. Yeah, like, I feel like there's so much stress about it. I feel like people are like, oh, I can't be in a relationship. It's like, no, like, when it happens, it happens. If not, it'll never come and you're like, we're good. I just caught myself telling Meredith.

Yesterday, or it might have even been this morning, I'm scrolling through my Instagram feed. I'm like, damn, like, why does everyone I know and everyone I went to high school with have a boyfriend right now? Like, why are people getting engaged? Like, I just, I get too caught up in the fact that, like, oh, like, I'm 21. Like, I know people getting married. Like, I should be getting married, right? And then, not, well, not, okay, not all of us, but there's, like, some people that I follow that are the same age as me that literally just got married in National Parks. And I'm like, wow.

should be at that point in my life. And then I'm like, you know what, let me backtrack for a second. Like, we're all on a different schedule and I don't remember where I heard this and I honestly think Ava, Ava Jules, I know you guys know and love Ava Jules, said this one time. She's like, never compare someone's chapter eight to like your chapter one. Like, you are on a different page, like a different schedule. Just trust your path and be patient. And that's still not what I was going to say. Oh, that was really good. That was a mic drop. Thank you guys. That was awesome. Let's see.

Alright, well that's all we got on the boy topic, I think. Let's see what else we got. Let's do a card. We're going to pull a card. Alright, your turn, man. Picking, picking, picking. What's it going to be? What has been your earliest recollection of happiness? I have a really bad childhood memory. I don't really remember my childhood at all.

Like my brother can remember things when he was three years old. I can't remember what we did 10 minutes ago. I have vivid childhood memories. Okay, give us your happy childhood. So I have this like friend group from when I was younger. They're like my family now. But we like, this sounds so bad, but we all like beat the shit out of each other playing Hunger Games.

Yes. Like, we would all make a cornucopia, and we don't have a big front yard or backyard, but we've made it work. Like, five of us, we'd put Nerf guns and swords and, like, wooden bats and, like, Cooper, he's broken, like, my mom's bat car light bulb. Shut up. We would all get into it, and we would just, like, hide in trees and, like, wreck each other, and that, like,

Like, even though there were lots of tears that came with that, it, like, makes me so happy thinking about just, like, me, like, throwing a bat at my brother's kid. No, that's actually, that's a moment we play, like, in our neighborhood, the first neighborhood I lived in, like, growing up, um,

my parents friends from high school moved into the houses next to us and they all had kids around the same time so we all just grew up playing in the front yard and we had this like section and we called it the woods it was like a like a literally just a nature path and i forget the game we played but it was basically like a really intense tag we would chase each other around the woods and push each other into trees so maybe that was like a universal thing like did you did you play games where you like yeah well we each other we like would play the hunger until we made it like the move

So like, I have like all three, like film, like me and my cousins, like we have like, you know, Hungry, He's Catching Fire, and then Machi Day. But we filmed them all on like, I still have them. They're like 20 minutes long. Like they're like, like we went in and it's over the course of like four years. So you need to post this on YouTube. No, I really do because they're so good. That is so awesome. Yeah, let's just film ours. Except ours will probably get taken down. Yeah. I'll show you guys later. It's really good right now.

You gotta pick a card. Oh, I gotta pick a card. Okay, I'm gonna pick a card, everybody. And the card says, do I remind you of anyone? That's not a good one. Yeah. I feel like you're so, you're unique in your mind. Everyone's unique in their own ways. Well, I agree. I don't know. I really have a hard time, like, what, I mean, you guys remind me of each other. You? Well, no, that's what I, but I feel like,

Yeah, like I have friends and when my friends remind me of each other, I think it's always a good sign. If I have a friend that has no characteristics of someone who's really close to me in my life, I'm like, this is a red flag. I don't know how to explain it, but like,

Okay, we're moving on.

Should we pick a different card? That one was kinda weird. Yeah, yeah. I totally interpreted that card differently. I think. I don't like this card. Okay. I'm pausing this, guys, while we find a new card. I have... Okay, wait. Okay, we're gonna do this one just because I wanna guess for all of us, but how many speeding tickets do you think I would've had? If you didn't know, which I don't know if you guys do know, how many speeding tickets do you think I've gotten in my life? Four. I've only gotten one. And I wasn't going that fast. I think that Meredith would have none.

And I think that Anna would have two. I think Anna would have six. Six. No, literally, if anyone knows me, I'm the worst driver ever, surprisingly. See, you guys have had, like, two. I'm the worst driver ever. You have two. I have two or one. I think Meredith wins this one, Anna. And two of them weren't her car. Two of them, one was Anna's car, one was Lex's car. Okay, you beat me on this one. I just needed to tell Meredith to come closer. Oh, that was so sad for her.

I think you can, but you never know. So I'm making her come closer to the mic. Yeah, but have you ever had a speeding ticket? No, right? I got one on 16. Well, how'd you get them?

Literally driving to a cross country meet. I had like four girls in the car and I was following my coach. She made an illegal U-turn. So I joined her, made an illegal U-turn and we're blasting music. Like I would listen to like Joey Trap in high school. I don't think I know any Joey Trap songs. Oh gosh, please save yourself and don't listen to Joey Trap songs. I'm going to put it on my playlist.

And then I was just driving and I was kind of like just, I think when you're just so excited, you're 16, you're cool with the car, you're driving your friends. When I was 16, I drove more reckless than I do now, which is so dangerous. But I think everyone does that when they turn 16. Like I look at my brother driving and I'm like,

I was driving so fast in the school speed zone right side school. But my coach was also driving fast. I was keeping up with her. So the cop lights turn on, whatever. But they turn on in the lane next to me. So I'm like, okay, well, I'm not the only one getting pulled over. So I drive away. And then, like, finally the cop car gets behind me. And we drive for over two miles. With the lights on? Yes. And so the music was blasting so loud. He was hanging his head out the window with the mic. I'm like, pull over.

Pull over. And all the girls go, Anna, I think you're getting pulled over. And I'm like, listen, Chuck. Don't do it, Chuck. Like, my car's shaking. I had, like, a 2010 Ford Fusion. Like, that thing was not okay. I was like, what? And then out the window.

Like a window with a microphone? So then finally I pull over. He's pissed. And my coach thought she was getting pulled over too. So she pulled over. So everyone's pulled over. Yeah. And so she walks over. The car like comes up to my window. I have tears in my eyes. All the girls in my car laughing. We're supposed to be going to run a 5K right now. And I'm already slow as heck on the team. So I'm like, this is the last thing I need.

The coach comes up, and she's like, hey, is there an issue? And he goes, ma'am, go back to your car. You're not the one pulled over here. So that set the tone. Well, to be fair, he did have to chase you for two miles. He did. I was technically, he considered me a runaway. Shut up. Is what he told me. So I started bawling, crying. These girls are all laughing in my car because I'm a wreck. I just got my license. And my parents are about to go walk me around a 5K, and I have to tell them I just got pulled over. He was the biggest mean.

And he came and found his ticket. Dang. Yeah. Tara and Scott are not happy about that. That's actually a really tough story. Mine was not that. Like, that's kind of a good one to have. Not that you ever want to have a story. It's my party. No, yeah, guys, please don't. Don't drive. Just drive safe. Drive safe or don't drive. They're all rough. I understand speeding a little bit in certain situations, but, like, be safe, okay? Don't put other people in danger at the sake of your own stupidity. Yeah. That's why I usually don't drive.

I want to play them the song I was listening to. Yeah, I kind of want to let them hear it. Guys, put this on your playlist right now.

With the sirens behind you and the cops head out the window

So bad. At 16 with your teammates, that's a good one. But, like, think about it. There's big heads in the back covering the, like, rear view window. I couldn't see. Yeah, you don't know any better. Like, you honestly don't. Like, when I, well, I knew I was going to get pulled over when I got pulled over because I had been speeding. I was driving to my college, which is, like, a seven-hour drive. So, obviously, you pick up speed when you're going on one highway for that long. So, I was going, I don't know. We're not going to talk numbers here.

It was going pretty fast. I saw the cop. I slowed down. I literally slowed down. And he still pulls me over. And it's pouring rain. And he goes, I need your license. And my license was in the trunk because it was, like, in my backpack that was in the trunk. And he made me get out in the pouring rain. Meanwhile, he had an umbrella. This guy literally had an umbrella. And he didn't even, like, offer to help me. Like, he's like, get it. And then he actually ended up being pretty nice. He gave me, like, a smaller ticket than what I should have had. But ever since then, I'm very careful when I'm driving through.

that part of Florida. If you're ever in Madison County, do not speak, okay? They're literally known for giving tickets and I wish someone would have told me that before that ever happened. But somehow apparently it's been 41 minutes. So you guys give one more, one piece of advice that you just have on your mind right now and then I'm gonna let you guys go. Why are you putting us on the spot? That's what I do best. I'll go first. Yeah.

I now understand that this is hard because I cannot think of anything right now. I'll probably say just take it one step at a time. Enjoy the moment that you're in. And I know it's such a cliche one, but eventually you're going to miss this moment. So yeah, just appreciate it for what it is and live it up because you gotta love. That's what went through my brain right there because you gotta love. Anyway, who's next?

Mine is, I actually saw this when I was driving the other day, and nobody else in the car saw it but me. I don't know how. But it said, it was a sign on the side of the road. Never seen it in my life. And it said, God's not late. You're just a patient. And I was like, oh. So I think about that all the time because I'm like, I wish that I was doing this, or I wish that I had a boyfriend or something stupid like that. Wait, that is such a good one. But then I'm like, being a patient again. Sorry. What happens? I feel like I said this a lot.

That's okay. It is what it is. Yeah. Everything has its own reason. Even the bad moments, the good moments. It's all meant to be a part of your life. So that's just kind of my biggest advice. Live life like that in your channel.

We were talking this morning. You get a speeding ticket. You were meant to get a speeding ticket. You were meant to. It was supposed to happen. It probably saved you. It probably saved you from something. Me and Meredith have a really weird telepathy thing where we say the same crap all the time. But yeah, no, we were going through my scrapbook earlier and like Riley was like talking about like one set of pictures or something and I was like, yeah, I was really going through it that day. But the thing is, without those days...

How would I have had the best days? And I say this literally every week. You guys are probably, I sound like a broken record, but you're not going to have the most amazing days of your life if you don't have the bad ones because you wouldn't know how to appreciate, okay, I'm done. We're cut off. You wouldn't know how to appreciate amazingness if it wasn't for like, okay, my voice is gone. The bad things make things better. You're always in the right place. Yeah, even if it sucks. Yeah. Yeah.

But yeah, I think you guys get the point. I think we all kind of just went over. Yes. Hashtag moments podcast. We out a little update. Moments versus officially coming out. Obviously, it's going to be the most excited day ever. Anna and Meredith were the first people to see the sticker pack and have it. And America's tickets are on my laptop. It's on my laptop. It will be mine will be on my laptop. Just give me five days. I'm going to get Anna to it. I'm the first ever. I'm going to bring my laptop.

So yeah, on that note, it's really exciting to see my friends using the things that are my dreams in reality coming true. It's a small step in the right direction, and I can't wait to share it with you guys. So yeah, I'm going to be posting about it nonstop. You're going to be so sick of it, but that means you're going to have to buy it. You guys have to ride the Moments pod. And I love you. Are you guys not going to say bye? We love you! Peace out! XOXO! Moments!

XOXO. Okay, we're out. I love you guys. I will talk to you next Monday. Moments pod. We'll catch up. Moments pod. I love you guys. See you guys. Good luck. Moments pod.

They're going to kill you guys. We can literally wreck that. I'm going to like it. Lexi is going to catch on. Sorry to break it to you. What? Our little sayings are going to add on. Oh, they definitely are. I'm going to need ad libs in every episode now. Yep. Lexi. Hey, we did it. Thank you guys so much. That was fun. Thank you guys. My squad. I think we did really good too.
