Hello, Conflicted listeners. Thomas Small here to let you know that the new season of Conflicted is here, and it's bigger and better than ever before. We're doing something a little different in season four. Rather than a chronological sweep, Eamon, Dean, and I are going to be studying the fascinating chains of events that have created the patchwork of the Muslim world today, and how the region's history has impacted the story of the entire world.

Expect answers to questions like: What do Turkey's 2023 election results mean for the future stability of the region? What role will the Middle East play in the new multipolar world? Is Islamist terrorism still a thing in 2023? So, still with the deep dives, still with the detailed analysis of what it is that makes this febrile part of the world tick, but more of it and much more variety.

We'll be coming to you every Wednesday from June 28th, so keep an eye and an ear out wherever you get your podcasts for more of me and more of Eamon as we go on a journey across the Muslim world to answer the biggest questions facing the region today. We'll see you soon.
