Hello listeners, Thomas here. Today we want to share with you a trailer for an upcoming show from Message Heard, the podcast company that brings you Conflicted. I think that if you're a fan of Conflicted, this new show will be right up your street. It's a deeply intimate look at how some of the topics we discuss on this show impact real people around the world. In this case, the Bosnian War.
Of course, we've discussed the Bosnian War unconflicted, both in its significance for the rise of jihad, but also in the so-called New World Order's attempts at resolving the conflict. The podcast you're about to hear a trailer for is a deep dive into one particularly tragic event that occurred during the war, the Srebrenica genocide.
Over the course of one midsummer week in July 1995, more than 8,000 men and boys were systematically killed in a small Bosnian town called Srebrenica. It was meant to be a safe haven for Bosnian Muslim refugees fleeing a war that was tearing their country apart. You are now under the protection of the UN forces. But it turned out to be a death trap.
The UN, he says, they did absolutely nothing to protect us. Those who made it out alive are still reeling because life can never be the same on the other side of a genocide. My name is Aleksandra Bilic and coming soon from Message Heard and Remembering Srebrenica, this is Untold Killing. We will tell the story of that one week through the voices of those who survived it.
It is a story of what the world's willful ignorance towards ethnic persecution ultimately leads to. Subscribe now to Untold Killing in your podcast app to find out when the series launches.
