I saw some posts that criticized Lil Wayne's new chapter, saying that his experience was not up to the mark, there was something on Twitter, but who is talking? I mean, I see a lot of people who support him, numbers, etc. Who is talking?

It's not to defend Lil Wayne, he doesn't need certain people to defend him, it's that sometimes you also need to understand the parameters with which you judge something and with which you judge an artist. I mean, no one is surprised when a Snoop Dogg album comes out that is legendary, that maybe, in short, does what the fuck he thinks, maybe he doesn't have the numbers that young people today can have,

Not because one cannot criticize, cannot judge, but it would be missing. But there is this attitude of taking a project when you are an artist at a certain age, create strange expectations that have nothing to do with reality, and then fuck it up and always want to pass the artists who come from the old school like assholes. Instead, I would like to say that... What the fuck do you expect from rap?

He's the one who made all these records, I mean, the rap is exactly what Lil Wayne did with the most characteristic flow in the world, with some very specific instrumentals, with particular features, a lyrical ability enviable. It's like when you criticize Eminem's album.

Guys, I mean, you're not a 20-year-old anymore who's doing "Just Lose It" anymore, who has that genius of doing the stylistic revolution. Because you don't give a fuck because you did it, you did it. You can't do another one, you know? Because when an artist does a stylistic revolution, it's not that he does it because he decided to do it, it's because he's the revolution.

Then you go on, indeed, you also standardize a little because you want to tell, to do, even to show that you are technically still able. This is a right record, it's the record that Lil Wayne wanted to do at this moment and it's fine. I don't understand why one has to criticize what, I mean, he had to play the Playboy Cart, Lil Wayne.

He had to not rap and be there to say four things, everyone has his style, he had to be completely unnatural but one also gives him taste to do what he likes, if you don't like doing this shit of hip hop, where the fuck is the problem? So for me the record broke, if you were waiting for the record that changed the rules of the game, guys...

It's not possible that it happens, I myself learn this lesson, but from there to criticize, to break the balls, to expect who knows what numbers, things, no, it's not like that. They are artists with important catalogs, with many hits behind them, it's not that you take, you do, but this does not mean that you are not a giant, that you are not a star, guys. I want to see who comes to all the risks that Wayne has made, I want to see it.
