The Beijing health authority said that mothers who give birth to a third child will enjoy another 30 days of maternity leave and fathers will get 15 days of paternity leave.
Until now, women in Beijing got three to four months of maternity leave as a basic standard, depending on the difficulty of delivery or other conditions.
As of May 31st, China officially further relaxed its family planning policy, supporting couples that wish to have a third child.
