December the 3rd is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. More than 1 billion people in the world - live with a disability. Yet - many have no access to affordable healthcare - and are -at a high risk of violence. The United Nations finds - there is not enough being done - to advocate for those with disabilities. Especially because - they are among the hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, and are more likely to die from the disease.
