This episode with Tyron McDaniel was inspiring! Tyron is an Affordable Housing Developer & Home Builder. A seed was planted as a teenager when he volunteered to help his sister during the building process for her Habitat for Humanity home. His introduction to real estate was working in the mortgage business. He went on to partner with his wife since he had her real estate license, they eventually started flipping properties, building a rental portfolio and did some wholesaling.
Next up was his ultimate goal of building, he met someone who gave him a blueprint of home building and shortly after this encounter he began his building career. His companies, Urban Vintage Designs & Houston Vintage Homes, are vertically integrated and design, build and renovate homes in the inner city of Houston. This interview is jam packed with game! The primary theme is how intentional Tyron has been with each step of his career and his desire to make a difference in the community he grew up in.
