好多小伙伴在看英文电影时，
总是对这句话很迷惑：
“That’s the spirit”。
spirit有精神的意思。
字面上看，感觉是“那是精神”的意思。
可一代入到台词的情景，却怎么都不对劲。
今天卡卡老师带你解读“That’s the spirit”真实意思和用法。
“That's the spirit.” 意思是 “这就对了；就是这个劲”。
用于赞扬、鼓励某人展现出积极、正确的态度、情绪或精神状态。
“That’s the spirit”可以配合一些形容词来使用，
比如excellent非常优秀, wonderful令人赞叹, splendid非常好, marvelous不可思议等等，
来增加说话的力度和效果。
例如：
- A: I'm going to finish this project by tonight, no matter what.
我今晚无论如何都要完成这个项目。
- B: Excellent! That's the spirit!
太棒了！这样才对嘛！
也可以配合一些短句使用，来增加说话的变化和趣味。
- A: I don't care what others think. I'm doing this for myself.
我不在乎别人怎么想。我是为自己做这件事。
- B: Good for you! That's the spirit!
为你感到高兴！这样才对嘛！
同时，“That’s the spirit”也可以来替换或补充其他鼓励人的话，
比如way to go干得好, keep it up坚持下去, you can do it你能做到的等等，
来增加说话的丰富度和亲切度。
- A: I'm going to run a marathon next month.
我下个月要跑马拉松。
- B: That's the spirit! You can do it!
这样才对嘛！你能行！
