Jesus knew the weight of what was coming, yet He picked up a towel and served. He washed the feet of the denier, the doubter, and even the betrayer. That’s the kind of love He modeled—and commands us to show. It’s not about what we get out of serving; it’s about the honor of being with Jesus and doing what He did. Whether you’re parenting, serving at church, or just trying to love someone difficult, remember—someday they will understand. And God will not forget what you’ve done.
