The work the Lord has given us is a gift. When we are close enough to him to perceive that fact, we can see ourselves as the answer for whatever manner of situation we find ourselves in. It's our love for him and the perspective that comes with that love that makes the work a joy. This is the attitude that David had. He was the man to save the day because he knew who his God was and therefore who he was.
