Covenant faithfulness and devotion was always expected from all God's people, not just the Levites. Priest and Levite alike were called to carry the word in their heart in such a way that displayed the character of God. This was so important that God graciously decided to inscribe his laws for them so that they would always have them. Later on in a time of calamity and judgement God told the people that he would write his words on their hearts so that they might obey. Jesus was the walking fulfillment of this promise. Brothers Carlos Rueda and Timothy Carter walked us through how Jesus inscribes the words of God on our hearts in this sermon entitled "Written on out Hearts".
