We are lucky to have as our guest today Dr. Paul Asdourian, a very accomplushed Spine Surgeon. As he nears his retirement, we got to pick his brain on the evolution of spine fusion surgery and the new technologies that have been implemented throughout his career.
He dives into what it takes to be a successful surgeon including how he gets into the zone or what he calls his “meditative state” during an operation to block out all distractions.
He even gives us an idea of something he’d invent if he could to make his job a little easier.
