2016年9月7日，农历八月初七，白露。
白露是农历二十四节气中的第十五个节气，当太阳到达黄经165度时为白露。
白露，天气渐转凉，会在清晨时分发现地面和叶子上有许多露珠，这是因夜晚水汽凝结在上面，故名。
古人以四时配五行，秋属金，金色白，故以白形容秋露。进入“白露”，晚上会感到一丝丝的凉意。

Now watch this autumn that arrives
看这个秋天在气味中
In smells. All looks like summer still;
到来。一切还像是夏天；
Colours are quite unchanged, the air

On green and white serenely thrives.

Heavy the trees with growth and full

The fields. Flowers flourish everywhere.

The ambiguity of this——

Summer still raging while a thin
夏天仍气势汹汹，而一缕细烟
Column of smoke stirs from the land
正从大地上升起，
Proving that autumn gropes for us.
证明秋天正向我们摸寻。
But every season is a kind
但每个季节都是一种
Of richnostalgia. We give names——
浓郁的怀旧。我们给它们命名——
Autumn and summer, winter, spring——
秋天和夏天，冬天，春天——
As though to unfasten from the mind

Our moods and give them outward forms.

作者介绍
伊丽莎白·詹宁斯（Elizabeth Jennings），英国当代著名女诗人，1926年出生于林肯郡。从牛津圣安妮学院毕业后，曾就职于广告业和牛津市图书馆，后专事写作。上世纪中期与菲利普·拉金、金斯利·艾米斯、汤姆·冈等诗人一道成为战后英国著名诗歌流派“运动派”主要成员，为上世纪英国最受欢迎的诗人之一。
