CDC’s ACIP Meeting on Johnson & Johnson COVID Vaccine causing Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis

The CDC is advisory committee on immunization practices is meeting today) to review the occurrence of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis with thrombocytopenia occurring in six women after receiving the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.  In addition to the thrombocytopenia, these patients also demonstrated antibodies to platelet factor 4.
