This story is about Amber who is 4 years clean and sober on March 4, 2023!! She went through a lot of abandonment self harm drug use. Now she realizes her purpose is to spread hope and light. She believes that everyone, if given hope, respect and love has the ability to come out of the darkness! Amber is now working client relations at The Point by Switchpoint which is a housing unit for veteran's and the 55 and older population. She helps facilitate classes, recovery meetings, and activities. Amber loves to serve and is currently encouraging the residents to start living and not just surviving. What message do you get from this interview?
ABOUT the LemonAid Stand: Heidi started hosting the LemonAid Stand live radio talk show, over 20 years ago, in 1999! It all came about when Heidi was dealing with thoughts of suicide, inadequacy, and dealing with infertility. She realized as she reached out to others and heard their stories, she would be uplifted and inspired no matter what she was going through. So this podcast has old "Original" shows from that time period. It also has "New" shows that are currently being recorded with new guests. And it has "Update" shows where Heidi reached out to original radio show guests to find out how the past 20 years have been!
