This is the jack underground pocket number one forty force. And he was echo Charles. So do you do IT dinner as a family? Yes, or how often?
Eighty percent of good.
cool. That's good. Saw IT the world .
I talk about.
almost like I E A .
school for the kids. You know, make jokes, I think a little time here, like kind of what's going on nowadays you know this kid .
that is like like, yeah like Jessica is trying out for this play or whatever this kind of thing.
We're right. Not no, not other kids, just our kids. Yeah, yeah so you know how school? You know, I know yeah, I mean, really depends.
But yeah, have you ever just like when your kids just brought something up, you like I yeah kind of fired up for that?
yes. So I can think of anyone off the top of my head. But yes, because I always do understand or impressed with you know how like certain you know, when kids they are observe stuff and they only live for, I don't know in my case, like eight years, eleven years been living on the earth.
So they see things through a different friends, a little bit different perspective. So they'll notice certain things more than other things. So they want to ask questions about this very specific thing within and yeah so that becomes interesting. yes.
So i'm kind of building this, but something happened at my dinner table the other night. So right now, you know, got a lot of kids out the house, right? We basically have one girl, one girl, my my Youngest daughter left and we're said there, you know, we're eating and sometimes when the food hits the table, there's not much talking.
Maybe it's more eating, you know and every hungry so anyways, you're said there are same stuff that you're talking about, school, how's the class? How's the thing? You know, my wife feet, you know, talking about something, whatever and is just like a there was this pause, like, no was saying anything for, like, one minute. It's a long time in dinner, but you know, I, you know, eat mistake. And then my daughter SHE just goes, you know, running commons body fat was point three three percent .
at its lowest 哦 yeah。
And when he said that, I was like, you know what, I just, I was such an awesome moment. Do you know how I told you that? Yes, I jim, yes, here you are.
My daughters, fifteen year old girl. Look into the SHE sell SHE rustles. Yes, you know, but and SHE works out, you know but let's face IT ronny common, he's from our error.
You he's old school there and they just bring up dinner, just add dinner. You know what I want to talk about? You know what I want to talk about as a family right now?
I want to talk about running commons and lowest body fat percentage point, three three percent. I know I have facts for you at the job. yeah.
So that's just a good indicator, you know, cause look these this day and age, you don't know what your kids are learned about. I learned about really cold body fat, per said. So I guess, you know we always talk sick about the algorithm and this isn't like a benefit. I'm i'm not giving credit to the algorithm, but at some point, you know, if your daughter is search running common body five percent, you know you good in the world?
yeah. IT is true because there is there are a lot of things on the internet that are worse to be impressed by for a fifteen year old girl, then, you know, running home at its best. Let's face IT face IT.
If you're looking at body representative, you're also checking out like mac squad yeah like because he'd been lifted heavy too, by the way.
wasn't playing around exactly and yeah, you can kind .
of deduce how he is police officer he is just so so jack.
oh yeah yeah heard that that element of history that you know experience we're happy with down yeah the cause some to and even like, okay. So she's interestingly, which is already she's on the right track because let's say IT sends the reason that sometimes a fifteen year old girl can look at or take interests in certain things on the internet to bring to the dinner table and it'll be really like, are we that happy that she's .
into know ever day you have the term deep cut, deep cut like like you've talked him about a band and it's not the band's top, you know, single or not even really the top album or maybe not even sort like some deep cut from the way deep way in the past. You know, like no one knows this song is A B side of a single that got released before the ban made IT and there's only a certain number printings. That's a deep cut, right? You throw out point three, three percent .
of deep .
cut if I .
would mean, like, that's cool.
No, honey, even if you said that, I would be like, okay, like if you SAT down at dinner and you just threw w that into the mix, I would be kind of fired up, to be honest with you, even for you to say that, yes, he lands. You look, you're in the lifting. Yeah, no, you're in the oni.
common. Yeah, you know, yeah. So but if you throw out out of the blue, by the way, this means you are out in another world. I'm in one world that you're in another world that just bring that into the scene. Yeah, I don't know.
I lands a lot different from your fifteen year old daughter to be.
I am saying though, this is i'm trying to explain how deep of a cut that is, even if echo Charles, if you and I went out for dinner and there was a buffet, and I was sitting in there eating and you return from the buffet youve SAT down, and that's what you opened with.
I've been like, okay, I you know, there's a reason I hang around this guy, and it's for this type of activity right here because is bringing in a statement kind of random? Yeah, we on't. We weren't talking about body building.
We want to talking about working out. We weren't talking any. We want to talking about body.
IT was just on her mind. So good. There you go. Hi, that is my topic for the weekend. Let's give credit where credit is.
That does bring up a of a good question. No, I think kind maybe you know maybe a stretch, but maybe not. IT is a good question.
Like what kind of questions are the kids or anyone really bringing in up? So I mean, whether be out of the blue or otherwise, what do they bring you out? You know, are they constructive questions you? Or is IT a are they talking about the latest celebrity gossip or something like this?
Know, is celebrity gossip that much of a thing right now? I don't know. Yeah, seems like he seems like when before IT seems like back in the day, IT seems like back in the day when they needed news, they would just fabricate, you know, gossip from the celebrities. Seems there is so much more interesting news that people don't really care too much about. The celebrity is .
as much the used to I I think, what do I know? I don't know. I'm like you like everyone else where i'm a um a recipient of my mic output from the the internet. Yeah you watch do you watch T, V news at all? The local and occasionally .
it'll pop up on my youtube.
If I go to news .
on youtube, it'll be like Sandy ago news and they'll be some one story that I might be a little bit interested in and I like, like on IT. But no, i'm not tuning in that they happened.
I'm fairly certain that celebrity gossip in that whole thing is still a thing. But since there's so much other news that you and you know if you're not part of that algorithm, I don't think you you'll see IT as much. So I might seem that way.
But yeah, tmc is still going hard. I don't know. I hear a lot about kini s it's like that kind stuff, but I think you're menu in same but we're not really into that stuff even if he does show up.
So if we were more into be more gather and we know more about IT.
I think so yeah because my wife sometimes watched the real housewife shows and all like, come in, you know, going to done for the day and then you will be kind of watching IT and SHE calls IT in the background, like does some other stuff but I come and like.
watch IT post up yeah .
post up yeah and i'll like, i'll watch IT for a little bit and you know, come on. It's hard to take this the show seriously, you know so you know, I started talking some question and she's like, I know I feel way different when you watch IT with me because this is just background like drama on background ways and now you into IT like it's supposed to be .
some like important you're critic their .
thought process yeah the whole deal but i'm like i'm like watching IT like it's this show to watch the show know a thing. So now I got to evaluate IT as such so that speaks so it's like this girls mad about this and SHE and then so he started to getting into IT telling me, but oh ah because he did this, she's matter she's matter this and then I looked IT up and SHE and you you looked this up like so like I guess this thing you know I didn't look IT up.
It's out there. It's out there.
I believe so ah well.
hopefully kids can do something cool and they bring something cold to the table. My daughter rose, something cold.
the table you know leahy is yeah not another yeah you are too.
There's a lot of those guys were the tom plats. He's still out there there just .
get after 跨界 了。
That's get some Q A, I Q A. This kind goes hard. Okay.
open here. go.
But say, thank you for the great content. You both have shown the trooper how to get on the path and stay there. All you do, all that you do is very appreciated.
Thank you writing to see if you have any advice on how helped my wife SHE comes from a very religiously oppressive household and has a mother who was, during my wife childhood, physically, verbally and emotionally abusive, using her religious belief to just fy her treatment of her children. We got married Young and moved away. After many years, he was able rebuild communication over the phone and appeared happy that her mother had seemed to change.
Later, we decide to move back to our home, hometown and reconnect with the family. This proved disastrous. The change that a mother made only last year until we arrived, her mother returned almost immediately to a verbal and emotional abuse.
And my wife broke down much of the ptsd he had. So he he had overcome returned, and he fell back into a mental state that took us years to get her out of the first time. We moved away again recently after only staying a year and a half.
However, her mother's continuing ing her abusive behaviour of via harassing phone calls and is even recruit her niece, thirteen years old, to send her text saying, my wife is hurting her, the niece starting in the need by not being there. This has resulted in a lot of pain and trauma that i'm having a hard time helping her fight. SHE recently watched podcast number four four seven, four forty seven make for with me a youtube in the hopes of seeing how strong, how strong Christian women should and can be, but had to stopped mid podcasts.
SHE had real time, had a real time panic attack. When he found the words to express what caused her anxiety to Spike her, her answer was, how do we know she's not torturing her family when no one is around and doing her chama was an incredibly hard fight the first time for both of us. I'm now, i'm sure, how to helped help her see that he can move on and heal again.
SHE is at the point where he is becoming easily triggered and distrustful of others, even though who are upright. Good examples over faith of their faith. We discussed therapy, but she's resistant as her distrust is running very deep. And advice you can give me to help her would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
Yeah, that's often that's terrible that people have to live to those kind of things. And yeah, know the there's a word to get thrown around all the time, a good thrown around way too often. And the word is toxic.
I go, that person's toxic, this person's toxic and IT gets thrown around too often. Most people aren't toxic. They're just like, you know, have a bad attitude or their negative, whatever.
This this wife's mom seems like a legitimately toxic human. And when you're around people like that, especially as a child, that's going leave mark. And in my opinion, that's going to require professionals to help your wife work through.
