Dr. Jason Hipp is the Chair of the Division of Computational Pathology and Artificial Intelligence at the Mayo Clinic and the Director of Digital Innovation for Mayo Reference Labs. Jason joins Beyond the Scope to discuss his career path, which includes work in academia, the NCI, big pharma, and big tech. His journey through an evolving digital pathology industry is paving the way for pathologists to occupy non-traditional roles, such as informatics director or clinical trials pathologist. Additionally, the conversation touches on some of the current hot topics in computational pathology and artificial intelligence.
