Faith is truly tested when chronic illness hits a person. Someone can seem like the faith they harbor is strong and their confidence is unwavering and then the day comes when they get their first symptom, leading to a long Easter egg hunt for answers and an army of doctors, only to then find they aren’t getting the quality of their life back, and boom—the reality hits and their faith is tested like never before. Faith exists deep inside of everyone, but it could be just a pilot light sitting within their soul that it isn’t strong yet and needs to be charged up and reignited. Have you ever run into someone that just knew—knew things were going to be ok and work themselves out? Meanwhile, hearing this felt abnormal, because your problems seemed unfixable, but yet they will be fixable, even though things seem so grim and scary. You are more than any problem you are faced with and you are more than any problem around you, even if it doesn’t feel that way. If you don’t have the faith to carry you through, then borrow some of someone else’s—maybe you know someone who stands strong with faith and wears it on their collar, and you need to borrow a little to get you by. Either way, faith is at your fingertips, faith is in your hands, faith is in your soul. In this episode, learn how to use the golden rope of faith and to restore the faith deep within.
