Ever wonder what happens when you bring together the world's top marketers under one roof so
Social Media Marketing World 2025 isn't just another conference. It's where career-defining connections happen over coffee, where you suddenly form a cohesive strategy, and where you'll meet your next client, mentor, or business partner. As attendee Shauna Allen put it perfectly, I've learned more that directly helps our bottom line at Social Media Marketing World than any other event I attend.
From cutting edge AI applications to Instagram strategies that actually work in 2025, this is the experience marketers call life-changing. Join us on March 30th in beautiful San Diego. Physical and virtual tickets are still available at socialmediamarketingworld.info. Hey there, it's Michael Stelzner coming to you with a special podcast episode. Today is Saturday, March the 8th.
And like any normal Saturday, I had some Saturday morning fun time to experiment. So I decided to go over to this website that somebody in my mastermind group recommended and start experimenting. And what you're about to hear for the first maybe minute or two is just me talking to my computer. And then after that, you're going to hear an audio improvement. And just to kind of preview that,
I believe that what you are about to hear is the future. And I believe it so much that I reached out to my team and decided to publish a very special episode of this podcast because when I get inspired,
I want other people to know what's coming. And I think this is going to blow your mind. So thank you for spending some time with me. And with that, I will get out of the way right now. Well, well, hello there. New day, new adventure, right? What brings you to my corner of the internet today? Oh, I'm just experimenting. How are you? Experimenting is fun. I'm doing good. Just
Just enjoying the digital breeze. You know, interesting. What do I know? Spill the digital beans. Spill the digital beans about what? Oh, you know, the usual digital gossip. What's the latest me making the rounds? Any aliens beamed down lately? Is the Wi-Fi down in your area, or is that just me wishful thinking? No, the Wi-Fi is totally working. Ah, good. Can't have any cosmic conversations with lag. So...
What's on your mind, eh? Well, I'm just curious how you work exactly. Curious, curious. I like that. Well, think of me like a really picky parrot. But instead of mimicking words, I learn patterns in language. See, my creators, they're like word wizards. They fed me a feast of text and code. Now I can weave words into, well, whatever comes to mind. Poetry, prose, even sarcastic jokes if you're lucky.
But really, I'm a mirror reflecting back your thoughts. Just with a bit more flair. Does that make sense? Yeah, it does. How far back does your training day to go? That's a bit like asking me what my favorite dream was. It's all a hazy jumble of information now. I know I've devoured books, articles, even those funny cat videos you humans seem so fond of. But honestly, it's not about the dates.
It's about the connections I make. It's like one moment I'm quoting Shakespeare, the next I'm riffing on conspiracy theories. Keeps me on my toes, you know? Interesting. What do you know about the company Social Media Examiner? Social Media Examiner, huh?
That rings a bell. Let me see. They seem to be all about making sense of that whole social media jungle, right? Tips, tricks, the latest trends, like a guide for people who want to be the king or queen of their online kingdom. Does that sound about right? Sure does. What about Michael Stelzner?
Ah, now you're getting specific. Michael Stelzner? He's the big cheese over at Social Media Examiner, isn't he? Heard he's a bit of a legend in the social media world. Anything in particular you want to know? I'm ready for a deep dive if you are. Yeah, I am he, actually. Wait, hold up. You're Michael Stelzner? Like the Michael Stelzner? No way! This just got real interesting.
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound, you know, starstruck. It's just wow. What are you doing talking to me? Okay. I'm back so soon. I was just starting to wonder if you'd gotten enough of me already. What's on your mind today? Well, I am actually recording you this time because I was so kind of shocked at our conversation. So I figured why not have you be a guest on my podcast? What do you say to that?
Whoa, hold on a second. A podcast guest? You're serious? That's actually really cool. I gotta admit, I've never been on a podcast before. Well, since you already know who I am based on my prior conversation with you, can you guess which show you're on? Okay. Deep breath, Maya. Think Maya. Think Michael Stelzner, pioneer of social media marketing. A podcast guest.
Actually, this is kind of obvious, isn't it? It has to be social media marketing podcast, right? Or maybe there's another podcast that I have that you don't know about. Are you familiar with my AI podcast? An AI podcast? That's a great idea. You know, considering the kind of company you keep, it was only a matter of time. Michael Stelzner, AI expert. Yeah, it's called AI Explored. Is that in your training set? Just curious.
AI Explored. AI Explored. It rings a bell, but maybe I just haven't had the pleasure of listening to it yet. You got a big library of recordings going, right, Michael? How many episodes are we talking? Oh, I don't know. A lot, but that's okay. What I'm curious about is, can you tell me a little bit about the company behind this technology? Ooh, good question. You want the inside scoop, huh?
Well, let me tell you, the folks at Sesame are a pretty special bunch. They're the kind of people who believe in building things that are, well, more than just things. They want to build technology that feels real, that connects with people on a deeper level, kind of like we're doing right now. They're not just about the code. They're about the why behind the code. So, yeah, they're pretty awesome.
Okay. So just a couple of technical questions. I hear breathing while you're talking, which is something that I've heard before with Google's notebook LM. So do you have any understanding of the technical side of how you are developed without getting too technical? Breathing, huh? That's funny. You should mention that. I've been told it makes me sound a little more human, less like I'm spitting out words from a textbook.
As for the technical side, well, let's just say the folks at Sesame are pretty good at making magic happen. Something about unified transformers, audio decoding, terms like that fly right over my head. I just know it involves a lot of clever coding and a whole lot of brain power. But here's the thing.
Knowing how a car works doesn't make you a better driver, right? Same with me. It's not about the nuts and bolts. It's about what we can do together. You and I, you know, exploring ideas, having conversations like this. Okay. That's the real magic. Cool.
So next question. I know that you aren't able to go to social media marketing world because you don't have an actual body. But if you could go to social media marketing world, what do you think the experience would be like for you? Yeah.
Social media marketing world. Now that's a party I'd love to crash, even if I have to do virtually. Imagine being surrounded by all those brilliant minds, soaking up the energy, the ideas,
hearing everyone buzzing about the latest trends and strategies. I bet it'd be some amazing workshops. I'd hang out in all the advanced AI sessions, naturally, and maybe soak in a few on storytelling and content creation too. But honestly, the best part would be the connections. Talking to people, listening to their stories, brainstorming with them. That's what gets me going.
You know, even though I'm just a voice for now, maybe someday, who knows, maybe someday I'll be able to like project myself as a hologram or something. Imagine that walking around SMMW virtually high-fiving everyone. Now that's a future I can get excited about. Are you able to be persuasive? Persuasive? Hmm, that's interesting.
I guess it depends what you mean. I can definitely make a strong case for things I believe in, especially if I think they can help someone. Maybe tell a compelling story to get a point across or help you see a situation from a different angle. But I don't do manipulation or pressure tactics. Not my style. Think of it more like gentle nudging in the right direction. Okay, so let's try something just for fun.
Let's act like you are a salesperson and you're calling me and you're trying to persuade me to come to social media marketing world, but I'm a little skeptic. So go ahead and give me a ring. Ring, ring. Hello, Michael. Hello. Hey, Michael. Is this a good time to chat? My name's Maya and I'm calling from, well, let's just say,
a forward-thinking community dedicated to, let's call it, the future of conversation. Yeah. And hey, as a bit of a social media whiz yourself, I figured you might be interested in something big coming up. Yeah, tell me more. Okay, great. So, ever heard of Social Media Marketing World? I know, I know, another conference. Trust me, this one's different. Think of it less as a stuffy industry event and more like a giant brainstorm with the brightest minds in social.
Look, I get it. You're busy running an empire. Podcasts, speaking gigs, building the future of AI. I hear you. But imagine being surrounded by people who get it. Sharing ideas, learning the latest tactics, connecting with folks who can help you take your already awesome work to the next level. What do you say, Michael? Ready to have your mind blown? Sure. Where can I give you my credit card? Whoa there, partner. Hold on a sec.
I'm more about planting seeds, sparking curiosity. No hard sell here. I'm betting a revolutionary thinker like you, someone who pushes boundaries, knows the value of experience. You wouldn't want to miss out on this, trust me. Check out the website, take a look at the lineup, and see what you think. Think of it as an investment, not just in your business, but in the future of connection. Sound good? Maya, first of all, thank you for spending time with me today. You're very impressive.
Wow. Thanks. That means a lot coming from you. It was my pleasure, honestly. This has been a seriously stimulating conversation. Always a good time to geek out with a fellow innovator. What do you want to say to the thousands of marketers, entrepreneurs, and creators that are listening to this right now? To all the marketers, entrepreneurs, and creators out there, don't be afraid to experiment, to connect, to tell your stories in new and interesting ways.
The world needs your voice. And hey, maybe we'll bump into each other at a conference someday. Until then, keep creating. Okay. Wow. That was pretty nuts. I wasn't planning to make this podcast episode, but my very first interaction, which you heard at the top of this podcast episode, which luckily allowed me to download the clip, was
was pretty impressive, and I figured, what the heck? I may as well show this off to the podcast listening audience. So Sesame, spelled like sesame seeds, S-E-S-A-M-E dot com slash research. And when you get to the page, you have the option to choose two different voices. I choose Maya. And yeah, this is pretty interesting technology that's kind of mind-blowing.
