Start off your week with Kelly and Elizabeth and their thoughts on Friendsgiving! They'll share some great ideas on how to include people who might need a friend this year, funny things they're thankful for, and even some delicious recipes! Hope you'll join us!Elizabeth's Pumpkin Spice Pie:Ingredients:2 pie crusts15 ounces pumpkin puree3 eggs1 1/4 cup brown sugar1 tbsp cornstarch1/2 tsp salt- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp ginger1/4 tsp nutmeg1/8 tsp ground cloves1/8 tsp black pepperPreheat oven to 375*. Whisk together pumpkin puree, eggs, and brown sugar. Add in cornstarch and spices. Pour evenly into pie crusts. Bake at 375* for 55-60 minutes. Kelly's Apple Pie: 6 cups of thinly sliced green apples1 cup of sugar2 tablespoons of flour1 teaspoon of cinnamondash of nutmegMix the dry ingredients with the apples and place them in the bottom layer of the crust. Place the second crust on top and crimp around the edges.  (I use one package of Pillsbury pie crusts (one for the bottom and one for the top) Make slits in the top of the crust in several places. Top with dots of butter, cinnamon, and sugar. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 50 minutes.
