The definitions of "low alcohol" and "alcohol-free" beer vary depending on location. In the UK, alcohol-free beer has less than 0.05% ABV, while low alcohol beer has less than 1.2% ABV. In the US, these limits are less than 0.5% and less than 1.2% respectively. The popularity of low and alcohol-free beers is surging.
Charlie Bamforth joins me this week to discuss methods for brewing low alcohol and alcohol free beers. You can find show notes and additional episodes on my blog here.
