台灣導演獲總統文化獎 Ang Lee Receives Presidential Culture Award
A famous director has won the Presidential Culture Award.
Taiwan-American director Ang Lee was given the award by President Tsai Ing-wen.
國際大導演李安獲得總統文化獎的「文化耕耘獎」，由總統蔡英文親自頒獎。
The Presidential Culture Awards are given to people or groups of people who have helped Taiwan's culture.
Each prize winner gets $1 million NT.
Lee's award was for the arts and culture category (類別).
Ang Lee was born in Pingtung County.
He moved to the US to go to university, and made lots of movies starting in the 1990s.
He went through many struggles.
Ang liked acting, but he had a hard time speaking English.
He also liked making movies and writing scripts (寫劇本).
But he couldn't find a job for many years.
Finally when he started making movies, he won many awards (得獎).
And Ang says he is very thankful for his Presidential Culture Award.
The director says he is a mix of different cultures.
But he says Taiwan is an important part of his roots.
Ang says he is proud to be made from Taiwan's culture.
And the director says he will do his best to help Taiwan become stronger, more resilient, multifaceted and free.

2021全球最貴城市 World's Most Expensive Cities in 2021
They are some of the most famous cities in the world.
But if you want to live there, you will have to PAY.
The 2021 Worldwide Cost of Living index is a list (名單、清單) that is made every year.
It looks at how much it costs to live in cities around the world.
「全球生活成本指數」每年會列出全世界生活成本最高的城市。
The Economist Intelligence Unit makes the list.
They say they looked at 173 cities this year.
And they compared (比較) the price of 200 things people often buy.
And many big changes, some because of COVID-19, have pushed up the cost of living in these cities.
Overall (整體來說), the experts say the cost of things went up by 3.5 percent.
And this year, the city of Tel Aviv (特拉維夫) in Israel was ranked as the most expensive city in the world, for the first time.
There were two cities tied for second most expensive.
One was Paris.
The famous city in France was ranked as the most expensive last year.
And the other second most expensive was Singapore.
Fouth place went to Zurich (蘇黎世) in Switzerland.
Fifth place went to Hong Kong.
Experts say the COVID-19 pandemic caused big changes.
Things weren't being made because workers were isolating at home.
That meant many stores couldn't get the things they sell.
And many people were buying things online.
But there weren't enough ships and planes to bring all these things to the buyers.
And because there weren't enough, people had to pay more money to get what they wanted.
Experts say they think the cost of living will keep going up next year.
But they believe it won't be as bad as this year.

幽浮一族樂團拍了鬼片 Foo Fighters Make Own Horror Movie
A rock band has done a surprising new project.
The Foo Fighters have secretly (偷偷的) filmed a horror movie.
The movie is set in a haunted mansion, where a band is trying to write an album.
The spirits in the mansion try to be a part of the album-writing process.
幽浮一族樂團說他們在一個鬼屋裡偷偷拍了一個喜劇鬼片。
The band says the story is based off their own experience.
They did rent a mansion in California to write an album, and they are pretty sure the place was haunted (有鬼).
The movie is called Studio 666, and it will be screened internationally.
However, no release date has been announced yet.
鬼片會國際上映，但還不知道什麼時候。
