A "Beary" Big Problem for Taipei Zoo Turtles
Some turtles at the Taipei Zoo have a problem.
It's a "Beary" big problem.
Beary is a Formosan black bear
She is 14 years old.
Beary lives at the zoo with another Formosan black bear named Brown Sugar.
Beary and Brown Sugar sometimes stay in an outdoor enclosure
They can enjoy the sun, get some exercise, and swim in the pond.
Some red-eared sliders (紅耳龜) live in the pond. And the problem is…
Beary likes to play with them a bit too much!
Zookeepers say Beary is very energetic
She is always looking for something to do.
The first time Beary saw a red-eared slider, she was a bit surprised.
Keepers say she backed away (後退) from the turtle.
But Beary soon became very interested in the turtles.
The keepers say this shows Beary has a very good memory
Now they say Beary always looks for the turtles when she gets outside.
She likes to use her paws to hit the turtles' shells.
Turtle shells are strong.
But Beary is 160 centimeters tall when she stands.
And she weighs 100 kilograms!
So getting hit by her paw is probably a little scary for the turtles.
Keepers say when the turtles see Beary come out, they will flee (逃跑) into the water.
But Beary is also smart.
When the turtles flee, Beary will follow them into the water.
And she uses her paws to search for (尋找) the turtles in the water.
Zookeepers are trying to find other fun things for Beary to do, so she will stop bothering the turtles.
How Many Ants Are There on Earth?
What's the smallest animal you can think of?
Many of you might be thinking of ants.
In fact, ants are so small, that there might be hundreds in the ground under you right now.
But have you ever wondered…
How many ants are there on Earth?
Scientists think they have the answer.
Here's a hint…
It's a lot.
Scientists think there are about 20 quadrillion (20,000,000,000,000,000) ants on Earth.
That's a "2" and sixteen "0"s.
How did they get this number?
The scientists had to collect (收集) a lot of information.
They looked at hundreds of studies of ants from all around the world.
The studies cover the past 80 years.
20 quadrillion is a number that is so big, it's almost too hard to imagine.
And the scientists say this is a "conservative" number

Chris says he loves how Dodger is so joyful
