台灣公司製造全球最大的口罩 Taiwan Company Makes World's Biggest Face Mask
Phew… wearing a face mask isn't fun. Sometimes I feel like I can't breathe (呼吸).
Yeah, I know, it's not very comfortable, but it's something we have to do.
Face masks help protect us from the coronavirus.
And not only that, they help protect other people if we are sick.
So it's best that we keep wearing them for now in public (公共場所).
Well… at least my mask is just a regular size… and not eight meters long.
What are you talking about?
A company in Taiwan called Motex Healthcare recently made a face mask that is 8.3 meters long, and 4.79 meters tall.
Of course, no one is big enough to wear it, except maybe a giant…
But the company said it wanted to "show off" Taiwan's strength in manufacturing. 華新醫材公司說他們製造這麼大的口罩，是為了炫耀台灣的生產能力。
The mask will stay at the Motex factory… the company hopes it will attract visitors (吸引觀光客).
It's different shades of purple and blue… my favorite colors!
The mask is so big that it has been recognized as the largest in the world by the Guinness Book of World Records! 它被金氏世界紀錄大全認可是全球最大的口罩。
Motex said it has actually been planning to build the mask since 2020, when the pandemic first started.
美國醫院 設立小山羊公園 Baby Goats Bring Peace to Hospital
Working in a hospital sure looks stressful (壓力大).
It's so busy… everyone is rushing around trying to make all the patients (病人) better.
I think being at a hospital is stressful for patients, too!
Sometimes you are sick and you're not sure what is wrong… but you have to wait a long time to see a doctor because there are so many people.
I wish there was something at hospitals to help me stay calm (保持平靜).
Well… a hospital in the U.S. is trying something to relieve the stress on its staff and patients. 這所美國的醫院，採用新方法來紓解病人和工作人員的壓力。
It has introduced gardens… that have baby goats!
It's happening at a place called the Legacy Hospital Group in the US state of Oregon.
A director for the hospital said it makes sense that feeling closer to nature would help reduce people's stress. 醫院的一位董事說，親近大自然有助於減輕壓力。
That's why they built the gardens.
But they wanted scientific evidence (科學憑據).
So one group of nurses took breaks in a hospital garden… and another took breaks in a comfortable room.
But the nurses that used the garden had less stress, anger and fatigue (疲倦).
And, of course, getting to play with cute animals in these gardens is even better!
So for a few weeks each year, baby goats are brought into the gardens!
Wow… if I got to play with baby goats… it might even make me excited to visit the hospital!
蜜桃貓朵佳 不再表演了嗎? Is Doja Cat Quitting Music?
Pop artist Doja Cat took to Twitter to say she is quitting music.
Doja Cat in March was on a tour (巡迴演唱) of South America.
She shared Tweets with her fans celebrating that she was performing in Argentina (阿根廷) and Brazil (巴西).
Doja was scheduled to perform at the Ascuncionico Festival in Paraguay (巴拉圭) but her performance was cancelled due to bad weather. 她原本要在巴拉圭表演，但是後來因為天氣太壞而取消。
One fan Tweeted her to scold her for not posting any Instagram stories, Tweets, or photos about Paraguay.
Doja then Tweeted an angry response saying that she is quitting the music industry. 一名粉絲發推文，罵她沒有發布有關巴拉圭的照片，推文或者IG。這惹火了蜜桃貓，宣布退出音樂界。
She suggested that being an artist comes with a lot of pressure.
It's not confirmed if she means she will no longer make music… or if she was just angry at the time. 現在還無法證實她真的不玩音樂了，還是只是一時生氣。
