嘉明湖終於滿水位了 Lake Jiaming Full of Water Again
It's been a rainy summer for Taiwan.
This has caused floods (水災) for many places in the south.
Which has damaged (損害) people's homes and meant they have had to evacuate (撤離).
But it hasn't all been bad news.
The heavy rain has brought many benefits (好處) to Taiwan.
And one place that has seen these benefits is Lake Jiaming, high up in the mountains in Taitung County.
Lake Jiaming is Taiwan's second highest lake.
It is a popular destination (目的地) for people visiting Taiwan.
Lake Jiaming hasn't been full for two years.
But after recent heavy rains, that has changed!
The Taitung Forest District Office said the lake began to experience drought (旱災) about a year ago.
And at times when rain was the heaviest, it would still only reach 70 percent of the total amount of water it could hold.
In May, the lake was only half full.
But now it has returned to being full of beautiful, sparkling water.

大陸流浪大象終於要回家了 Wandering Elephants in China Homebound
An elephant never forgets.
That's a famous phrase.
And it seems to be true for a group of elephants travelling China.
A group of 14 elephants is currently walking around the country.
They were living in a nature reserve (保護區) in China's Yunnan Province.
But they left the nature reserve about 17 months ago.
And since then, they've been on a journey that's been over 700 kilometers long.
A baby elephant was even born along the way.
But now, they're only 200 kilometers away from the place they started.
The Chinese government has sent over 410 people and 374 cars to help the elephants in case there is an emergency (緊急狀況).
They've also used drones to observe (觀測) the elephants.
中國大陸政府派出410多人、374台車、還有幾台無人機協助大象。
The elephants might be cute, but not everyone welcomed the travelers happily.
Farmers in Yunnan have complained that the elephants have eaten entire fields of corn and pineapples.
Lots of people wanted to protect their homes and land when the elephants arrived at villages.
But they had to be evacuated (撤離) and move away so there was no conflict (衝突).
The Asian elephant is endangered.
That means there are not many left in the wild, outside zoos and nature reserves.
There are less than 250 wild Asian elephants in China.
And that's why it is important these elephants get all the protection they need.

新的Netflix寶可夢電視節目 Live Action Pokemon Show for Netflix
A new Pokemon show is heading to a major streaming platform.
Reports say that Netflix is in the early stages of developing the project.
Unlike previous Pokemon shows, this new one will be live-action (真人版).
It should have a similar feel to 2019's Pokemon Detective Pikachu movie.
據說Netflix在製作一個新的真人版的寶可夢電視節目。
The new Pokemon show is not expected to be connected to any other existing Pokemon content.
Netflix already has several different Pokemon shows and movies available.
This includes (包括) the Detective Pikachu film, as well as several cartoon series.
We'll have to wait for more information about what this new show will be like.
