Taiwan loses an ally, a camel competition faces a crackdown, and Snoop Dogg wants to buy a record label.

台灣與尼加拉瓜結束外交關係 Taiwan and Nicaragua Cut Diplomatic Ties
Taiwan has cut ties with Nicaragua.
They are no longer diplomatic allies.
What does that mean?
Most countries recognize (承認) China as a country, and a few recognize Taiwan as a country.
Nicaragua used to be one of those, but not anymore. The president of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, decided to recognize China instead on December 9.
So what happened after that?
Taiwan used to send aid (資助) to Nicaragua to help build things the country needs, like hospitals. But not anymore.
And Taiwan has told all its representatives in Nicaragua (駐尼加拉瓜的代表) to come back.
Taiwan gave lots of Nicaraguan students scholarships (獎學金) to study here.
They were probably worried they would have to return home.
But the government in Taiwan said it will still help and support them.
Taiwan's government has blamed (責怪) China's government.
It thinks China convinced (說服) Nicaragua to cut ties with Taiwan.
China said it was the "right choice" and "in line with the global trend".

If I asked you to name a beautiful animal, what animal would you think of?
Maybe a peacock (孔雀)?
Or a tiger (老虎)?
Or perhaps an owl (貓頭鷹)?
Would you ever think of a camel?
Well, in Saudi Arabia, there is a competition to decide the most beautiful camel in the world. 沙國有駱駝選美比賽。
Winners can take away 66 million dollars.
But what makes a beautiful camel?
Apparently, it is long lips, a big nose, and beautiful humps (駝峰).
That's what the competition says.
But not everyone can own a "beautiful" camel.
And unfortunately, this means some people have been doing things to change what their camel looks like.
These things include making their ears smaller, removing their claws, and even injecting the camels to make their lips bigger. 為了美化駱駝，有些人會把牠們的耳朵弄小，把爪子剪掉，甚至在他們的嘴唇裡注射物體來"豐唇"。
Luckily this year, the competition is starting to take action (採取行動) against these things.
More than 40 camels were disqualified from the competition.
But animal rights group Peta Asia still said the competition is "cruel."
And that Saudi Arabia needs to "crack down" more on people changing how their camels look.

史努比狗狗想買前唱片公司 Snoop Dog Wants to Buy Old Label
An old-school rapper wants to take over a company.
Snoop Dogg released his first two albums with the Death Row record label (唱片公司) in the mid-90s。
He then switched to No Limit Records in 1998.
Now, Snoop Dogg says he would be interested in buying Death Row.
史努比狗狗說他有興趣買他的第一家唱片公司，他前兩張專輯是那家公司發行的。
The record label is currently owned by a private (私募) group.
However, Snoop says he has heard rumors that the group might be willing to sell the label.
He says he should be in charge of Death Row, since he helped to create it.
Snoop recently began serving as a top creative consultant for Def Jam Recordings this past June.
