Tortoise-Shaped Pizza
Hey pizza lovers! Get ready because there's a new pizza in town.
A popular pizza chain in Taiwan recently unveiled a new flavor of pizza.
You won't quite believe what it is.
The pizza is shaped like a tortoise (陸龜).
The tortoise-shaped pizza has a circular base as normal, but there's a head at the front, along with two front paws and two back paws.
The pizza toppings are all green.
Going from photos, it looks like it's topped with green mochi (麻糬) and coriander.
That doesn't sound appetizing.
And get this, the head is stuffed with red bean paste (紅豆餡).
Pizza chains in Taiwan have been known to release strange flavors.
Previously there was a pizza topped with coriander (香菜), century egg (皮蛋) and pig's blood cake (豬血糕).
There was also a pizza topped with fried squid and Oreo biscuits.
That is utterly revolting.
And then there's boba pizza…
Boba pizza topped with cheese and boba balls - the same kind found in bubble milk tea.
So what are some netizens saying about the tortoise pizza?
Well, one person said, "It looks kinda cute".
Someone else said it looks like a roadkill toad
But surprisingly there are some who say they want to try it.
I know I certainly don't!
Even though tortoise-shaped pizza didn't win any Michelin stars, some say it could be a hit at parties or gatherings.
But making this pizza isn't easy.
Staff at the pizza chain said it takes twenty times longer to prepare than a regular pizza.
I don't even agree with pineapple on pizza, let alone pig's blood cake, Oreos, squid or whatever else those dastardly pizza chains devise in their twisted minds.
I mean those things are not meant for pizza.
Good pizza is topped with Italian tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella (水牛起司) and salty salami (鹹鹹的義式臘腸), with some fresh basil (九層塔).
I couldn't agree more, though pineapple pizza isn't so bad.
Pineapple pizza is awful!
No, it's not!
Anyway, this turtle pizza is definitely shaking things up in the pizza world.
Who knows, maybe it'll inspire even more wacky pizza creations in the future!
Please NOOOO!!!!!!!!

Moving swiftly on from that pizza, it's now time to talk about a heartwarming story

Aww!
So a little dog called Mishka was just living life in sunny California with her family.
But one day, she suddenly went missing.
As you can imagine, Mishka's owners were distraught.
They searched and searched for Mishka for over nine months, couldn't find her.
They even posted on social media, but still nothing turned up.
Now, fast forward to just before Easter (復活節) in suburban Detroit, Michigan.
The local police get a call about a wandering stray dog
When they picked the dog up, they discovered it was Mishka! But here's the mystery: Michigan is over 3200 kilometers away from California!
How did Mishka make it that far?
Well, no one really knows.
The director of an animal welfare group thinks Mishka might have been stolen and then sold before ending up in Michigan.
Luckily, Mishka had a microchip (寵物微晶片) with her owners' information.
So the police were able to contact her family right away.
Mishka's owners didn't waste any time.
As soon as they got the call, they hopped on a plane (跳上飛機), then drove 10 hours to collect Mishka.
Thankfully, Mishka was found in good shape - clean, well-fed, and taken care of.
After a check-up at the vets, she was ready to head back home to California.
So, there you have it - the incredible journey (不可思議的旅程) of a lost dog who found her way back home against all odds.
So in today's News Bites,
A famous pizza chain in Taiwan introduced a tortoise-shaped pizza.
It's topped with green mochi and coriander, and the head stuffed with red bean paste.
While some find it amusing or cute, others are repulsed by the idea.
Pizza chains in Taiwan have released strange creations before, using squid, Oreo and century egg as toppings.
And,
