台北市準備增設微笑單車2.0站到一千兩百個 Taipei Plans to Expand YouBike 2.0 to 1,200 Stations
There are lots of ways to get around a city like Taipei.
You can take a train, you can hop on a bus, you can call a taxi, or you can even just walk.
And sometimes, it's more fun to ride a bicycle…
But what if you don't have your own bike?
Well, that's what YouBike is for!
YouBike is a public bicycle rental system (公共自行車租賃系統).
It was started in the year 2009, by Taipei's Department of Transportation and the company called Giant Bicycles. YouBike是2009年由台北市交通局和自行車製造大廠捷安特，共同推出的服務。
And recently, the system has started to provide (提供) even better bikes, called YouBike 2.0.
The newer bikes have little screens (螢幕) on them, to help people use them more easily.
And YouBike 2.0 stations can hold more bikes, and use less electricity than the original stations. 新的YouBike 2.0站比以前能放更多輛車，而且用更少的電。
That's good news for everyone, because the system is so popular (流行) that sometimes there aren't any bikes left to rent.
Taipei City now has more than 800 YouBike 2.0 stations around the city…
And it plans to expand (擴展) the Taipei YouBike system to 1,200 stations by the end of next year.
Currently (目前), you can find YouBikes in Taipei, New Taipei, Hsinchu, Taichung, Changhua, and Miaoli…
But no matter where you are in Taiwan, you can expect to see more bike rental stations soon!
世界第二高大樓 即將在馬來西亞落成 World's Second Tallest Building Tops Out In Malaysia
Have you ever been to the top of the Taipei 101?
At 508 meters tall, it used to be the tallest building in the world, for five whole years!
Now, the tallest building is the 829-meter-tall Burj Khalifa, in a country called the United Arab Emirates (阿拉伯聯合大公國)。
It's gonna be hard to beat that…
But that doesn't mean other countries won't try to stay close!
And right there in second place is a new building in the city of Kuala Lumpur, in Malaysia. 馬來西亞首都吉隆坡正在興建世界第二高大樓。
It's called the Merdeka 118 (默迪卡118), and it has just topped out at 678 meters tall.
To "top out" means that it has been built as high as it will go.
But there is still lots of work to do before it's completed!
The Merdeka 118 is expected to be finished by the end of 2022.
The word "Merdeka" means "independent", or "free", in Malay, the language spoken by many people in Malaysia. "Merdeka"這個字在馬來語裡的意思就是【獨立】或【自由】。
The building's shape partly represents (代表) the shape of someone holding their hand up to declare Malaysia's freedom.
The Merdeka 118 was also designed with a mix of diamond-shaped glass, which the designers say represents the diversity of the Malaysian people. 默迪卡118外牆由許多菱形的玻璃組成，設計師說這代表馬來西亞人口的多樣性。
And just like its name, the giant building has 118 floors.
Taller and taller buildings are being built all around the world…

伊卓瑞斯·艾巴可能加入007電影 Idris Elba Offered Role in Bond Film
A big name actor could be joining a major movie project.
Sources claim that Idris Elba is in talks with the James Bond filmmakers.
They say that he will not be offered the role of Bond himself.
Instead, Idris could be asked to play the villain (反派).
據說伊卓瑞斯·艾巴可能演下一部007電影的反派。
Daniel Craig recently ended his five-movie run as 007.
His last appearance was in No Time to Die, which came out in September.
There has been a fan campaign (運動) to have Idris take over the starring role.
Filmmakers have said they won't decide on the next Bond until next year.
很多粉絲希望伊卓瑞斯當下一位007主角，但明年初才會正式宣布。
