Hi Everybody and welcome to Idioms Episode 1! I'm your host, David Dyer, and Idioms is a minicast (5 minutes at the most) and as the name implies, I'm going to be talking about...idioms. You know, those things we say in everyday conversation that seem to have nothing to do with anything EXCEPT you know exactly what someone means by the way they use it? Well, each episode, I'll explore one idiom, research it's origin, and give you some laughs as I express my own personal take and experience with the phrase.
