The Philadelphia 76ers have now lost their 11th game in a row following a hard-fought 114-109 defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Wolves superstar Anthony Edwards hit a huge three-pointer, facing a double team and against the shot clock while clinging to a two-point lead with 7 seconds to play, giving the visitors the victory for their 5th straight W. Sixers' guard Quentin Grimes scored 17 of his team-high 28 in the fourth but it wasn't enough to come away with the win for the scrappy 76ers. Edwards led all scorers with 37 points, 18 in the final frame.
