Akshay Nanavati is a United States Marine veteran, speaker, entrepreneur, ultra runner and author. He served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and was later diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder. He is currently training for a never before accomplished, solo, 2700km, 105 day expedition in Antarctica. He plans to use a ketogenic diet for this self supported effort, so Dr. Mike Nelson came back to help us dissect his approach.
