Author Kris Newby contracted Lyme Disease in 2002. The difficult process of getting properly diagnosed and then treated made her question the odd behavior the medical community has taken with Lyme Disease. Her research, which forms the basis of her book Bitten, yielded some unexpected answers and many of them relate to what we are facing today with the COVID pandemic.
