Thunder Rosa is excited because Texas is close to her heart, and she hopes to have a championship match at the event. She recalls her iconic moment in San Antonio where she was crowned the AEW Women's World Champion, emphasizing the special connection she has with Texas.
Thunder Rosa believes the division is not dead and criticizes selfish behavior, particularly from Mariah May, who she feels lacks loyalty. Rosa advocates for unity and leadership from someone experienced and caring, positioning herself as the ideal representative for the division.
Thunder Rosa mentors women through Mission Pro Wrestling and AEW, emphasizing camaraderie and sisterhood. She works closely with Isi Moreno and others, sharing her experience to help them succeed, reflecting her belief in collective growth and support.
Thunder Rosa describes herself as an artist who enjoys making her persona fun and different. She adapts her look, such as her half-face makeup, depending on the occasion and time available, while maintaining a consistent style that defines her character.
Thunder Rosa values speaking her mind, even if it’s controversial, as she believes it’s important to express her opinions. AEW has provided her a platform to work on the number one podcast in the U.S., and she sees her voice as a way to support and elevate the wrestling community.

What's up you guys? Sean Ross Sapp, Fightful here with a name you know, Thunder Rosa. It's been a while. How are you? It's been like Orlando revolution. You remembered. How sweet. That was the last interview we did together. Because Naila was in it. Yeah, she was. What did she come through and talk about? She interrupted us. Did she crash or I crashed? Oh, she crashed. We had planned our interview. It was something really dumb. I don't remember, but I love you, Naila.
We're here in Texas at the AEW All-In ticketing event. I mean, I know this is the state in general is a place close to your heart, and I expected to see you here. What is it like to have AEW announce a show like this so close to home for you? I mean, it's very special. I mean, I am, like, really putting this in the air that I get an opportunity next year in July, December,
to have possibly a championship match with whoever is the champion at the time. I mean, let's remember one of the most iconic moments in AEW in the women's division was when they came to San Antonio and I was crowned the AEW Women's World Champion. I think that moment was very, very, very special. But now Thunder Rosa is a little different. She's Thunder Rosa 3.0 and I'm a little extra. Extra, extra. So when they announced this show, especially in Texas...
I mean, I know you a little bit. I know that your mind gets racing. We see the presentation at a media event. Is your mind already racing, like, entrances, how you're going to look? All the time. As a matter of fact, there's...
There's something really special happening winter is coming which is this Wednesday and where Mariah May and Mina Shirkawa are gonna be wrestling and I'm paying really close attention to both of them and I think it is time Sean that someone who is not selfish is finally takes care of the division because it really bothers me when people say that the division is dead and buried because somebody's carrying a shovel. I don't think so Mariah. I'm not talking to you. If you win the match I already know it's gonna be you but if Mina I like Mina but
In terms of Mariah, I just feel like she's been extremely selfish. She's shown definitely that there is no loyalty to anyone, that she will stab anyone and anybody to be where she wants to be at. And that shows. I mean, she did it twice already. Twice. And I don't feel like that should be someone who represents the women's division at this moment. We need to unify it. We need someone who has been there, done that, and who cares for everybody else. And that is me.
One of the things I've always admired about you in your career, you were on TV very early. You're like, I don't know if you had to get better, but you always did. You were always improving. And not only that, you took that and parlayed it into helping dozens, if not hundreds of other women get better with mission pro and the like. How important was that to you? Because you are a perfect example of growth and what people can do if they, they never settle. I think that is extremely important to me because of someone who had been
been in so many different women's promotions prior to being an AEW and seeing how camaraderie and sisterhood helps other people to be where they want to be. And I continue to do that right now. And I'm doing it really closely with Isi Moreno.
I try to mentor her as much as possible. I've done it with many women at Mission Pro Wrestling and even at AEW. Breaking news coming in from Bet365, where every nail-biting overtime win, breakaway, pick six, three-point shot, underdog win, buzzer beater, shootout, walk-off.
And absolutely every play in between is amazing. From football to basketball and hockey to baseball, whatever the moment, it's never ordinary at Bet365. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. 21 plus only. Must be physically located in Virginia. Now taxes is 100% free when you file in the TurboTax app if you didn't file with us last year.

You know, when your friends or your acquaintances allow you to give feedback and just to support each other in a positive way, I'm there. I think it's very important to have a positive morale in the locker room. And the more that we support each other, not superficially, but also in a more spiritual level, it's just building each other up. It's extremely important for all of us to grow.
You're a big wrestling media member now. Look at you, all over the place, all over the place doing interviews, stirring up stuff. I always do. Listen, it's fun. I'm the most controversial woman with a microphone, if you listen to me and bust it open. I'm always on the dirt sheets. It's fun, isn't it? I'm always on the dirt sheets. It's fun, though, isn't it? Right? Yeah, you like it. I always have something to say. And for some people, that is controversial. For some, it's important. It's just, you know, I...
I believe it is important to speak your mind and AEW has allowed me an opportunity to work in the number one podcast in the United States and I'm an active wrestler and I believe that it is important that we again we support each other a lot of us have worked
in the Indies before and seeing people succeed is important to me because if you succeed, we succeed. If there's competition, that means we're all going to work really hard to make things work. And I said this because I truly believe in what we're doing and we're here today in Global Field and I truly believe in what we've done in the last five years in AEW and I'm
I am just one person in the locker room, but believe me, there's a lot of people in the locker room that want this to succeed, that we want this to go to the next level, and we want to be part of it. The other day, as we filmed this, you had a different face paint. You had the bottom half. I loved it. It was such a different look. And again, I mentioned earlier, I know you. You're always thinking of different things. Do you have, like, is it like a sketchbook? Is it like a notes app on your phone? Like, where do you keep these ideas? No, we just...
I'm an artist. I like to make it fun and different, but sometimes you have to stay consistent, especially in professional wrestling. You have to have a style, so the half face is Thunder Rosa. So you're going to see me, depending on the day, depending on how much time we have, how are we going to do the makeup too. I love it. Guys, Globe Life Field, AEW All In, 2025. Tickets are on sale now. Check it out. Until next time, we're out.
