Why did God not reveal to the Apostles at some point that the second coming of the Messiah was not going to happen for thousands of years? Clearly, that would have been a DE-motivator for them, and hope would be stronger otherwise. God loved and was doing what was best for them spiritually. Apostles, such as Paul, John, and Peter received revelations from God but not this information.
