Natalya Poshyvaylo-Towler was born near Poltava, Ukraine. She left for
New Zealand in the late 1990's and eventually settled in Melbourne, Australia. She is a regional vice president with the Ukrainian World Congress, an organization focused on the global Ukrainian diaspora.
