Lina Ngo reflects on her experiences as a Vietnamese Ukrainian refugee and her activism

Lina Ngo was born in Kyiv to Vietnamese emigres. Once the Russian invasion began in 2022, she and her family left Ukraine and eventually settled in Seattle, Wash. where she has family. Lina is now a college student there and an activist supporting the Ukrainian army through the NGO Ukraine Defense Support.
