Prior to becoming Provost of Shenandoah University, Dr. McCoy) served at Lehigh University as vice president and vice provost for strategic initiatives and as the executive director for the Corporate Engagement Office at the University of Oklahoma. Before his career in education, McCoy worked in the private sector and served as an officer in the United States Army. As an educator, he has taught courses in entrepreneurial thinking, leadership theory, and higher education administration.
