Tucked away in the middle of Stephen King's short story collection Skeleton Crew is "Paranoid: A Chant," a 100-line poem from the point of view of a narrator who has fully given over his brain to conspiracy theories involving shadowy government agencies. This poem - this poem - was adapted into a short film in 2000, and in the most 2000 way possible. Lots of browns and yellows in the color palate, and the star of the short is inexplicably in her underwear.
