Leave the experiencer quietly alone. Breathe that for a moment. Leave the experiencer who arrives in your awareness quietly alone. Its not what you are. Some people will say that’s quite an ask. But reality is quite simple. In anything that disappears in your experience it can’t be you. Without seeking, you are looking for you, without seeking. What am I. who am i. So to leave the experiencer quietly alone, we may just realise in this that often we go off in our belief systems and maybe we haven’t really seen they are belief systems but we believe in them so adamantly that they become real for us. We don’t really truly get curious about what we deeply are and are what we believe in or give power to. So all this requires deeper commitment to realise and to grow your ability in able to respond to the deeper levels of your knowing.
That means your daily life is a gym to realise what you are. In other words you stretch the muscles of your longing to realise what you are. You stretch the muscles of your passion to love the one that truly is. You stretch those muscles. You stay with it. Like for instance when we wake up in the morning, and you could say to yourself, leave the experiencer alone, quietly leave the experiencer alone. During the day, just pause and leave the experiencer alone. Now I am suggesting to you, as you leave the experiencer alone, although there can be a lot of discomfort in leaving the experiencer alone because the experiencer wants to go and get and solve the experience it doesn’t want and it wants to go and get the experience it does want. That’s the movement of duality. Basically, that’s hidden suffering.
When you leave the experiencer alone, although its uncomfortable, particularly in the sense perceptor body, particularly in the mind but more than likely in the emotions and nervous system. You can begin to practice transparency. That’s your ability to feel and know the body and as you feel and know the body look to see that the one who sees and feels and knows the body is actually beyond the body. The quieter you become, the more still you are, you will see that as you feel and know and see the body, you’re the one beyond the body. And there begins to be transparency. That transparency has to be brought into your everyday life. That you begin to leave alone the little details that the experiencer wants to get into nitty gritty details. How many times have you experienced that? That’s what the experiencer wants to do but if you just sit back a little bit more and you have honestly practiced not taking the hand of the experiencer and running with it, you begin to see that you are the one that’s watching all this, just behind sense perception. And it will go deeper than this.
