1975 年 7 月 30 号和 30 月 2 天晚上在洛杉矶的 Record Plan Studio Tom Woods 录制了他的第三张录音室专辑 Nighthawks at the Diner 这张专辑的录制方法比较特殊为了营造爵士俱乐部的氛围

《路之现场》邀请了他的朋友们来做观众这种办现场的录制方式让专辑既有现场表演的真实感又保留了录音室的精致为了营造出真实的绝世曲的部的氛围制作团队在录音室里面布置了桌子和椅子还设置了酒吧并且在桌子上摆放了薯片还特意邀请了一位脱衣舞娘来现场表演
