A former Clarke County Sheriff's Deputy with more than 30 years of public service has lost his battle with bone cancer. Deputy Barry White passed away Monday morning. Funeral arrangements are currently unavailable. Plus, four suspects are facing charges after allegedly stealing fireworks from a stand on Eastside Drive in Newton and leading police on a chase early Monday.
