A former federal probation officer has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for receiving disturbing child sexual abuse materials.
Law enforcement officers started investigating 46-year-old Lonnie Everill, of Water Valley, after he allegedly engaged in chats with another social media user regarding their sexual interest in children. According to investigators, Everill had over 1,400 images of very young children and toddlers
